Albus' Mistake
"Come on, Al! We're gonna be late!" Scorpius yelled, dragging his boy friend Albus behind him.
"All right, Scorp! Sheesh! Why you even want to go to potions I'll never know," Albus replied grinning and running along behind Scorpius.
They finally reached the potions room and hurried inside. Fortunately, in Scorpius' mind anyway, the teacher wasn't there yet so they took their usual seats and set up. A few minutes later the teacher entered.
"All right students. Today we're going to do a simple sleeping potion," he said, briskly.
He gave them their instructions and they got to work. Albus, being Harry's son, managed to botch up his but Scorpius' was going along perfectly. He stared at Albus' murky, mossy green potion in horror.
"What did you do?" he asked.
"I think I dropped the frog in too late," he said, sheepishly.
Scorpius stared at him for a long time.
"Al," he said, slowly, "you weren't supposed to put in a frog".
Albus seemed surprised.
"Well it was just there and I thought…," he trailed off as he heard a boy named Royale query, "Where's my frog?"
Scorpius gave him a worried glance before turning back to glare at Albus.
Albus smiled sheepishly. Then he raised his fingers to his lips in a shushing motion and he continued to stir his amphibian, er, potion.
