The tavern was loud, but she hardly noticed. Her eyes traced his familiar outline as she sipped from her mug. Even when two drunks' fist fight crashed into her table, did she ever lose sight of him.
She'd never lose sight of him. Not after waiting for so long. Not when tonight was it. She'd claim her revenge tonight and finally show herself after fifteen long years. But waiting hadn't even been the hardest part.
