AN: I lost it near the end ... and I did so well not to laugh for the bulk of this. :)

What Tohma's hat really is, and the conspiracy under it.

The Secret Underneath The Hat

Seguchi Tohma; a man who probably has more skeletons in his closet than he prefers to acknowledge. A man who charismatically maintains his power above any and all who happen to associate with him. A true entrepreneur, Mister Seguchi has mysteriously and amazingly held N-G Studios for many more years than anyone expected. Most would say his success was due to deliberated business tactics and shrewd dealings amongst his colleagues. However, perhaps there is a not so considered prospect behind his achievements.

It should be noted that it was not until later in his business career that Seguchi Tohma wore his famous black hat regularly. In certain photographs and daily aspects of life, the black hat can, and could be seen atop his platinum head, but very rarely. It can be assumed that perhaps he considered this hat a 'lucky hat', and wore it for concerts only; as a sort of self reassurance. But anyone can see that Seguchi is not the type of man to indulge in such a childish frivolity. The fact that he was seen wearing this article outside of stage presence and interviews, is further proof that he holds a certain amount of attachment for the hat, and not just a simple need to be reassured by an inanimate possession.

The history behind the peculiar top is most certainly unknown, though one can come can come to their own conclusions.

Without Seguchi's famous American manager, Mister K Winchester, the talented keyboardist most likely would not have made such a quick climb to the top of the charts. It cannot be said he could be seen wearing the hat in the early years of Nittle Grasper, until AFTER the recognized appearance of K. Is there a connection? It certainly is ironic that the mysterious black item was only noticed following his aggressive manager's arrival.

Given Mister Winchester's assumed connections with the U.S. military, it cannot be ignored that perhaps this hat is a thing of contemplation, diabolical creation, and immoral animation. Could it be that conspiring government scientists are developing a form of mind control? Seguchi Tohma's tenacious, ever-lasting ability to maintain absolute dominance over any poor soul who happens to become involved in the mysterious man's life, must be blamed on some higher being. Tohma has not been called a god for nothing, and one aspect often is overlooked: the black hat.

Winchester's criticized yet effective tactics can also be taken into account. It is well known this eccentric man has gone to excessive lengths to achieve stardom for his clients. Why not influence the crowd through a seemingly innocent device? Threats and forced presence are commonplace for Winchester; and while no reports of menace toward any audience are known of, it would not be surprising to learn of a 'false fan-base'.

Perhaps the hat's possibilities are unknown to Seguchi himself. It may have been a 'gift' from K Winchester; a well thought of stage prop; a casually pointed out item on sale. Winchester's underhanded strategies most likely have no limit.

It's mind-controlling liability must be looked upon! Any dramatic change in someone's life that the man has caused was always in the presence of his hat. Surely there is a pattern that is, while vague, quite apparent once magnified by the shrewd eye.

Please take into consideration this possibility Dear Reader. Beware Seguchi Tohma and his domineering, god-like powers. He may be able have absolute control of the universe in the near future. And beware secret government conspiracies to transform articles of clothing into mind-control units; for they may have control over you at this very moment.
