Tommy glared at the tickets in his brother's hand. "Really? Really, Kaplan? You've seen the movie like a million times. Why the hell do you want to go see the Broadway version?" Billy just gave him a look. "Don't you try to use your stupid puppy eyes at me. I'm not going. Get Altman to take you. He's the only one on the team obligated to keep you happy."
Billy groaned. "Teddy has a project to work on today. Pleeeaaase."
Tommy groaned, throwing himself onto the couch and flipping on the tv. "No, I don't want to see the damn Sound of Music on stage. I couldn't even sit through it when you tried to force the team to watch it."
Billy stood in front of the TV, blocking his view. "Come on, Tommy. No one else can go tonight, and I didn't know that when I got them."
Tommy just laid down, trying to look around him. "Tough break, Kaplan. I'm not going." Billy moved to block his view again. "Dude, no, get your damn puppy eyes out of here. I'm immune. No feelings remember?"
Billy smiled an evil smile. "I'll tell mom that you've been ducking on 'brother bonding time' again. You remember the lecture you got last time you tried to avoid this?"
Tommy's eyes narrowed. "You. Wouldn't. Dare."
"Try me."
Tommy groaned, throwing the remote at him. It didn't make the nice smacking noise like he wanted, instead was caught in a blue light. "You suuuuuuck, Kaplan."
Billy just set the remote down on the side table. "Only sometimes." He laughed at the groan as he dodged the thrown pillow. "Now get ready. You've got ten minutes. Nice shirt, nice pants." Tommy sighed as he rolled off of the couch. If he started now, he should be able to lose himself somewhere on the other side of the world. "Don't even think about it, Tommy. I will magic you back and force you to watch a marathon of musicals."
He glared. "And you call me the team sociopath."
Billy just shrugged. "That was one time and I was emotionally compromised. Now get dressed. Or I will magic you into some 'proper clothes'." He did the finger quotes. Tommy couldn't believe he actually did the finger quotes.
"Ugggggh. Fiiiiiine. I'll do brother time or whatever. This is the only time you're ever getting me to watch this damn thing." He glared as he stood up and made his way to his room. "Never again, Kaplan. Never. Again."
Billy just smiled at his retreating back. That was a lot easier than he expected.
