Alternate Timeline: Still mostly the same except Gohan has been flexible with his studies and has also trained quite a bit. He still attends Orange Star High School. Ever since the Cell Games, Gohan has taken up the role to be like his father and trained with Piccolo, Vegeta and #18 and has taken to heart that there might be another form of Super Saiyan so he's been searching to unlock it. Vegeta has become a Super Saiyan 2. Goku is proud of his son and thinks that he doesn't need to return to help out the universe and or Earth and is training with many warriors in Otherworld. Dragon Ball Z: 2 Saiyans and 1 Human
World Tournament Arc
PROLOGUE
Alone and cold was a lonely teenage girl in the mountains. She was around 16 years old in very revealing armor, no warmth or shelter. This chilling winter made this girl think twice about wanting to be sent her.
'We're sending you to Earth to be safe. Frieza is about to destroy the planet. Please… Be safe my daughter…'
The girl shivered violently, sobbing quietly, "Mom… I miss you so much. How can I survive in this world alone without help?"
She looked ahead and saw a cave exit but her legs were so numb that she couldn't move an inch let alone stand.
"HELP ME, ANYBODY…" Her voice echoed across the mountain peaks with nobody hearing her cries for help. From what little sky she could see the girl could've sworn she could see another Saiyan pod landing out in the far distance near very finger-shaped mountains. The scouter on her left ear read a very low power level, though it might be short-circuiting that kind of power level would be for a baby.
Shrugging it off since she had other matters to deal with the girl tried to move but still couldn't move her legs. The poor tail attached to her backside was barely moving. The Saiyan felt like she was going to die soon.
Her breath froze instantly once coming out of her mouth breaking on her numbed legs. The girl winced in excruciating pain from the impact of them. The cold finally got to her and passed out with then the ice started creeping up her body until she was frozen from head to toe unable to wake from being in suspended animation.
Meanwhile, a certain meeting was occurring that would change the fate of the Earth forever.
"My my, you have a tail. Hmm? What to name you? Ah, I know I'll call you Goku."
With the arrival of Goku on Planet Earth, the survival of Earth seemed to be depending on only him for the next 33 years. However, with him sacrificing himself during the battle with Cell in the Cell Games, he left his oldest and only son Gohan, who had a brother on the way, to protect the Earth. Now, 7 years after the fateful battle with Cell it has been 40 years since the day both Saiyans arrived on Earth. Will these 2 travelers from a lost world cross paths for the first time? Stay tuned...
Chapter 1: Saiyan on Ice
40 Years Later:
"Ok, it's time to start our first flight. Just use your energy...and be careful…" warned Gohan, worried for his brother and crush that he also is slightly fearing. He eyed Videl and Goten carefully as if looking into their soul. Gohan shook his head, "No no Videl that's not how you do it. Relax, and use your energy and you'll be able to at least hover." Videl grunted as she relaxed as did Goten. Gohan smiled because it looked like Videl was getting it. He turned his attention to Goten who was still hopping up and down. Gohan smirked to himself, 'He's 7 and listens to everything but not when I'm talking to Videl? Better call the media,' he joked to himself.
Videl was still struggling when Gohan gripped her shoulder and calmly spoke, "USE your energy. Clear your mind of other thoughts."
Videl grinned a bit and nodded her head, intended on getting this right for her mentor.
Light winds started picking up around them and Gohan watched her like a hawk. His hard, intense gaze caused Videl to get slightly nervous that her crush is watching her like this, and yet it excited her that she was getting his attention. Though she still kept her bad girl attitude.
A few seconds later she had left the ground. Videl hadn't even realized yet her feet had left the ground. It was then she saw Gohan staring at her wide-eyed and she looked down and almost screamed when seeing she was about 5 feet off the ground.
She panicked for about a minute until she descended safely to the ground. Videl glared at Gohan once landing awaiting a praise or something. Gohan was in awe, she was a sight to behold with how fast she got it.
"W… wow… Videl… I… I never knew you'd get it that fast...?" he explained scratching his head, "Is it because I've had experience in martial arts?" she asked curiously. With that thought, Gohan snapped his fingers, "That's it. I'm sure of it Videl"
Videl smiled and looked at her watch and her smile fell into a saddened look, '1:45 pm? Already. I guess it's time to head home.' Videl thought, sadly she didn't want to go but had to or else she'd get home very late and that would mean a very unpleasant lecture from her super overprotective father, "Hey, Gohaaaa…" she trailed off seeing Goten zip around in the air like it was no problem. Getting ready to rant she saw Gohan looking dumbfounded, "Y… You… You… CAN FLY? THIS GOOD ON YOUR FIRST TRY?" Videl sighed being annoyed at the situation.
"HEY, GOHAN. I'M LEAVING." She yelled being jealous of Goten.
Gohan panicked when he heard her scream but calmed down when he saw her dropping her jet-copter, "What? Oh, ok, Videl. It was great to have you."
She nodded, "Thanks for having me over. I'll be back tomorrow just so you know." Gohan gasped, "Tomorrow?" Videl stopped in her tracks, "Yes, tomorrow. That isn't a problem right? Is my presence a burden on you?" Videl said looking over her shoulder at the boy she was crushing on.
Gohan shook his head, "No no, I just didn't expect you wanting to come back, you know with my mom and all…."
Videl turned fully around, "I like your mom. She's a nice woman." she smiled inwardly at her reaction earlier.
Flashback
"This is so good," Videl said, amazed by ChiChi's cooking skills.
ChiChi filled with excitement leaned towards her oldest, "So when are you two lovebirds tying the knot huh?" she asked happily.
What happened next was Goten was covered in his big brother's food, Videl sat there unaffected thankfully.
"Eh..eh.." Gohan said scared.
Goten smiled, "Wow Gohan, you and Videl are getting married? I'm gonna have a sister? That's amazing." he said.
Gohan started doing a whacky dance, "WE'RE NOT GETTING MARRIED STOP SAYING THAT…."
Videl looked at him with eyes that were very cute, nobody noticed, 'Oh, we will be married Gohan. Whatever I want, I get.'
End Flashback
Gohan stared at her like she was a ghost, "O… Oh, ok…" Videl threw her capsule to the ground to release her jet copter.
"See ya later," she told him not caring.
Gohan awkwardly waved, "Ya, see ya. Oh, Videl?"
She turned around wondering what he wanted, "Yes?"
He smiled nervously, "I was… Just thinking… About your hair…"
She was interested now, "Wha?"
Gohan gulped, "It... Might be better short…"
Videl grabbed her left pigtail softly. She was blushing all kinds of red. She giggled and responded, "Do you...l… Like short hair...on… On girls Gohan?"
Gohan gulped, "Y...yes… But I think you'd look very cute with short hair and at the tournament. Also, it would prevent people from grabbing it to take advantage of you...but… I think mostly the first option." He took a step back in case she unleashed upon him in a furious brawl but instead, she stood there, a blush on her face and was she...giggling?"
"What the?" he spoke quietly not paying attention the blushing and giggling earlier.
Videl let go of her pigtail, "Well, this was an unexpected gesture." Gohan fell to the ground when he heard her speak kindly, almost like the other girls at school, "SEE YOU TOMORROW NERD BOY. I MEAN BEST FRIEND." She shouted when taking off. Gohan laughed which made Videl smile as she shot off into the distance.
Goten landed next to him, "What's the matter with Videl? She was acting strange?"
Gohan stooped down, "Girls… I DON'T UNDERSTAND THEEEMMMM…" his face was a mix of shock, and confusion from what Goten could make out.
Goten folded his arms behind his next, "Well, I'm Going home Gohan. Care to join me?"
Gohan slowly nodded still dazed while Videl was suddenly so friendly, "I think… I will...this day has been crazy."
Goten started walking in the direction of home.
'Your destiny is intertwined with hers. Climb the frozen peaked mountains and find the figure within.' Gohan heard a voice in his head and had a feeling to check the frozen peaked mountains for something unknown there, "Hey, Goten. Go on ahead… I have to check something out." He yelled. Goten nodded and took flight for home.
Gohan looked that way of the mountains to the west and a storm looked to be accumulating fast. Taking flight, Gohan flew as fast as he could there to the entrance.
'For years her fate has been frozen…' again that voice spoke from in Gohan's head. He shook his head, "WHAT THE HELL? WHO IN HELL IS SPEAKING TO ME?"
'Go inside the mountain You will find something valuable for your future…' Gohan grit his teeth, he had enough and turned Super Saiyan, "GET OUT OF MY HEAD…" and as if on cue a misty figure revealed itself or herself. Gohan didn't recognize her but he recognized the furry belt around her waist. A Saiyan tail was unmistakable, Gohan has made contact with a ghostly image of a dead Saiyan.
"WHO ARE YOU?" Gohan demanded staying on guard.
The ghostly figure dissipated and reappeared in Gohan's face, 'Fasha. Member of your grandfather's troop. Killed by Dodoria and mother to the one within the mountain.'
"You've lost me?"
'The pod will explain everything.' she said fading away. Gohan floated there, rain hitting his face with flashes of lightning all around.
'Enter the mountain. Free her from her icy tomb for her future to be certain.' Gohan got serious, looking around he descended to the surface near the entrance.
Dropping his power level, Gohan dropped from Super Saiyan. From within the cave, he could make out a glistening form of a solid block of ice leaning against the wall. Taking one step in he hit something metal with his right hand. Using his ki to heat it up the ice melted to reveal a Frieza Force space pod, growing suspicious of this cave he checked the log of the ship.
It took awhile. The circuitry was all fried and frozen so it was very stressful. The camera started playing to reveal someone looking like his father Goku looking out a window with a red blood stained bandanna behind his back...
Suddenly, the woman who had been speaking to him burst into the room holding the hand of a young teen Saiyan girl.
"BARDOCK. WHY IN THE HELL ARE YOU SENDING MY DAUGHTER TO PLANET EARTH? IN A FEW HOURS ISN'T KAKAROT GOING? RIGHT?" shouted the woman.
"Ya Bardock, isn't your son going?" said the 16-year-old Saiyan girl who Gohan thought was pretty cute.
"Listen… You have to go. I had a vision and if my visions are correct you need to live in order to repopulate the Saiyan race," he explained smiling teasingly.
"Eww. I'm too young for to have sex… WITH ANYONE." Yelled the Saiyan girl displeased with what they just said.
The 2 adult Saiyans laughed, "No really, I had a vision and it requires you to be apart of these future events." The girl looked at him like he was crazy. Both laughed, "Be safe dear," Fasha said as the pod door closed and she launched towards space.
Gohan watched on the screen as the girl ate, slept, calculated her coordinates and crashed in the same spot Gohan is standing in. He watched that after 3 hours the cold weather caused her to pass out and started freezing up from her feet to her head. Minutes later she was frozen in a solid block of ice against the back cave wall. Gohan felt sympathy for her that she was frozen in her sleep. The pod followed soon after as the camera soon looked all icey.
Standing up with difficulty due to the fierce winds coming into the cave causing some bad debris to hit Gohan's face didn't stop him from getting to the frozen girl lying against the wall.
Gohan focused on her a pointed his index finger at the block of ice, "FOCUS BEAM."
Chanting that word came a semi-powerful nonlethal beam that seemed to be melting away the ice. Gohan melted the ice all the way to the point where she started breathing nearly seconds after being freed. Acting fast he created a heat shield over her body, which made her grin.
"Phew...this is rough. Mom is gonna kill me if I bring home a girl I just found…" he eyed her features, her face, her chest that seemed quite large mostly, nice midriff and exceptional legs and spiky black hair that went a tiny bit past her shoulders.
Then suddenly she began coughing badly. Gohan reverted his eyes so it didn't look like he was staring.
"Uhhggaa… Where am I?" she asked knowing Gohan was right there from freeing her after slightly seeing a foot in front of her.
He grasped her hand an action which made her madly blush and stutter, "Who... Who… Who… W… Who are you cutie, I mean sir?"
Gohan chuckled thinking her brain was loopy, "Don't worry. You're safe. I found you and rescued you. I'm Gohan. I'm a half Saiyan-half human. You were frozen in a block of ice and I basically learned that my grandfather and your mother sent you here 40 years ago according to the video and data logs in your pod, and you're still 16 after being frozen for so long. So you are the same age as me."
The girl thought in her head, 'Same age as me? Oh, boy, are we gonna have some fun.'
She relaxed after that, but still, on guard thinking Gohan might be lying to her to make her feel safe then bam he kills her. She kept her guard up just in case of it. Then a content smile snaked its way on her face. The Saiyan teen knew she could trust this guy, he seemed very trustworthy and handsome.
"Tell me Gohan. How are the Saiyans?" Her smile fell when seeing Gohan frown. She secretly hopped the Saiyans have perished. Since she has been frozen she hoped her race forgot about really wanting her dead. She crossed her arms scoffing.
He frowned scratching the back of his noggin, "I'm sorry about this but Frieza destroyed them before I was born. My father's name is Goku or aka Kakarot, defeater of Frieza and the first Super Saiyan in like…. Forever."
Her eyes went wide at hearing that transformations name. She snapped her head in his direction beginning to put two and two together. Kakarot the son of Bardock managed to reach Super Saiyan, "WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS? ARE YOU ALSO A SUPER SAIYAN? IT WOULD BE SO COOL TO SEE A SUPER SAIYAN. Is your father around?" She was absolutely elated. Her opinion on Gohan changed immediately knowing that he is a son of a Super Saiyan. Her interest suddenly turned to a minor affection for the half Saiyan. Yes, she liked him now but hoped to get to know him better.
Gohan sighed while he crouched down to her height on the ground, a sad expression on his face, "I'm sorry, my father is dead. 7 years, in fact."
Her happy attitude fell to a saddened one, "Oh, I see… I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to bring it up… I'm sorry, Gohan." Said the Saiyan teen heartbroken. She may have ruined her chances with him, which would make her almost cry.
Gohan smiled, "Don't mope. You can see a Super Saiyan in your midst if you'd like," Gohan told her like a superhero, though he kinda was The Great Saiyaman.
Curiously she stared at him with one eyebrow raised, "Ya… I doubt there are any other Super Saiyans, it is impossible. Gohan?" She said seeing Gohan standing up which confused her more. Her face paled as he gathered his energy, the cave shaking like an earthquake.
In a flash of gold, she was blown back against the wall harder and was now facing the glory known as a Super Saiyan. He went even higher to level 2 sending her brain into overdrive, so much in one minute, a Super Saiyan before her very eyes. The legendary form nobody has been able to achieve in a millennium standing right before her eyes.
Her voice dripped with wonder, "Incredible," she spoke in awe. Slowly, yet swiftly she grabbed a lock of his hair which was in fact golden. Her suspicions dead on if it was dye. In just a span of a few minutes, her infatuation for this handsome half Saiyan went up fast to the point she had a giant crush on him.
She desperately wanted to grab his face and kiss him but stopped knowing it would ruin the moment. Gohan dropped from his forms and looked intently at her, "Say, what is your name?" he asked notably.
She smiled, "It's Kess. Though I really don't like my name. It's so weird." She said closing her eyes, arms folded.
Gohan hugged her, an unexpected gesture making her blush, "I know a name you could have. You would love it." The Saiyan teen stared at him confused, "And?"
He snapped his fingers, "How about Angel? Do you like that name?" She thought it over and after a minute nodded, "Yeah sure, Angel sounds like a great name…" Said the newly named teen girl. Angel smiled widely up at him.
Angel then giggled thinking of the future with him, 'Especially once I get you to fall in love with me, I'll be your angel.' she sighed happily, Gohan didn't notice it though to the relief of Angel.
"Hey, I just remembered, do you know how to fly and use your ki for energy blasts?" he inquired. Angel looked attentive for a second before she looked back at Gohan with a sad look and sighed, looking down at the ground sadly, hoping he wouldn't be mad at her.
In fact, he wasn't mad at her, it surprised her that laughter is what replaced what she thought would be anger, "You aren't mad at me?" She gestured to him, "I thought with my lack of experience after not being able to for 40 years, you would refuse to speak to me?" she told him quietly.
He patted her on the back, "Hey, don't worry Angel. I'll teach you how to master your flying and use Ki blast skills again, heck, I'm teaching a friend of mine from school. I would like you to meet her tomorrow. Oh, since you have no place to go, why not come live at my place? And also Prince Vegeta is alive on Earth so don't try to piss him off at times. His pride makes him a bit of an arrogant asshole."
Meanwhile, at Capsule Corp.
"I sense a disturbance in the force."
Meanwhile, back in the cave.
Angel nodded to the fact about Vegeta. She growled with her arms crossed, "Gah… Why does Vegeta have to be here? My family and his did NOT get along well back home. I was 13 years old when we became enemies." Gohan mmhmm then asked her his question again, "So? How would you like to come live with my mother, brother, and I?" Getting back to the topic her answer was brisk to staying with him, her shout echoed around the walls of the cave, "YES, I mean, yes, I would love to Gohan." Gohan smiled and they together walked out of the cave, leaving her past behind.
Unknown to them her space pod awoke. It has an attached camera which allowed the user to see the camera feed. The pod's laser eye opened as it watched the two exit the cave.
"Hehehehe…. Soon, Kess, you will die a most painful death… I'll make sure of it," Said the user on the other side of the communicator.
Gohan held Angel bridal style to his house. He was very, very worried about what his mother would think about bringing a girl home. He just had Videl over, having another girl could make her think he's a player.
Angel thought she felt a presence coming from the cave. Looking back she thought she saw a red laser pointer looking at them but when she blinked nothing was there.
She shrugged thinking it was just a frozen after effect. Unknown to her that 17 miles away in a village sat a spiky-haired female looking at them through the camera feed with a sadistic smirk on her face, "It looks like the time has come. After 40 long years. The age of reckoning has come for you, Kess."
Gohan and Angel were reaching their destination after another minute of chatter. When landing at the house his mother stood their clipping the laundry to the wires when hearing her son land behind her. Chichi swiveled around to yell at him wondering why he is late until she saw a girl with unruly spiky hair and a brown fuzzy tail. The wife of Goku stood there, aghast, shocked and curious. Her face paled her mouth quivering once putting two and two together.
'A… Saiyan?' She thought before her anger consumed her and she began lashing out, "GOHAN WHO IS THIS?"
Gohan set Angel down and walked up to her waving his hands from side to side, "Now now mom… I… I found a Saiyan girl on the mountain back there frozen in ice for the last 40 years…" Unexpectedly Chichi slapped her son angrily across the face no matter how painful it was for her, "SHE IS NOT GOING TO LIVE IN MY HOUSE. WE ALREADY HAVE 2 FREAKS… I mean Saiyans living here.
Gohan rubbed his staring at his mother angrily, "Yes she is mother. She's nothing like Vegeta at all. A voice lead me to her cave in the mountain over there to rescue her and take her back here. SO we ARE letting HER stay HERE," said the half-breed pointing to where she was frozen over in a block of ice, "I opened her pod holding an old recording of dad's dad and her mother sending her to Earth to avoid Frieza." Gohan explained, "All went wrong when she crashed soon to be frozen so she has nowhere else to go, mom."
Chichi grit her teeth in anger. She switched her attention to the Saiyan teen who was growling lowly at her, "Listen, you, little hussy, you are not living with me if your evil, will make a bad influence on my youngest son and or cause extensive damage. If you live here you'll have to live by my rules, not by your own being a bad girl."
Angel smirk crossing her arms, she nodded once, "I can live with that. You should know though i'm possibly one of the only good-hearted Saiyan girls from Planet Vegeta I hated those bloodthirsty warriors."
Chichi's eyes widened, "Wow…. Ok. Come on in. Oh, what's your name?" she asked with her hands on her hips.
Angel grinned, "Kess but it's now Angel. Gohan gave me that name when discussing I hated my Saiyan name. I don't ever want to remember what my Saiyan name meant to most people back on Planet Vegeta." The mother of Gohan nodded her head. It was sunset now and getting darker.
The 3 of them walked inside for some supper then some shut-eye, with Angel in the guest room, to her disappointment.
While outside later that night Chichi got in her jet-copter and flew off to an unknown underground bunker, which held much-needed secrets. She was allowed in and Chichi met the boss, "Ajax. I have an offer for you, one that you can't refuse mister…"
2 hours later after that meeting, Gohan and Goten were laying down on their bed which was on the floor. Goten yawned then turned towards his big brother.
"Hey, Gohan. Is Videl coming back tomorrow?" he asked. Gohan nodded and smiled, "She sure is."
"Cool. In my opinion, she's so very cool," Goten said happily.
"Hahahaha…. Yeah, she is, well, goodnight little bro." Said Gohan closing his eyes.
"Night big bro."
Downstairs in the guest bedroom Angel had just changed into her night clothes Chichi had lent to her when she looked out the window catching a glimpse of someone standing on the mountain near the house with a torch in hand but the figures face was shadowy.
Angel frowned, 'Who is that?' Her face then turned to a surprised, freaked look when the torch passed by the users face revealing for a split second a foe she had fought long ago before the figure disappeared.
Angel continued to look out the window for a good several seconds before she tore her sight away from the outside to her bed.
The next day Gohan and Goten were up bright and early for some training before Videl decided to show up. Angel stayed behind to get ready for training who wasn't told about Videl. Running up the hill Gohan was clad in his purple gi and Goten in his classic orange and blue gi just like Goku's though with sleeves, "So Goten, you ready for a little bit of training?"
"Heck yeah, I'm ready." Goten backflipped.
Gohan laughed, "Ok, I'll race… WHOA…" before finishing his sentence a yellow aircraft flew over them landing a few meters in front of them near the river. The aircraft flew so low to them that it almost flattened them both falling to the ground, "Oww… Hey, Gohan, Videl is here it looks like."
"Yeah… I didn't expect her this early?" Gohan said confused, she landed when they stopped near her spot that she landed in.
The door opened after a couple of seconds when the engine stopped, hopping out of the vehicle a certain girl that now Goten didn't recognize walked closer to them, an annoyed look overtook her face.
Gohan slouched down, a confused face written across his features, Videl has shorter hair, why in the world did she do it?
"Hey, Gohan who's the new girl?" Goten innocently pointed out. Gohan facepalmed, "Goten. It's Videl…" Goten mouthed out an 'oh' and proceeded to go capture animals.
She looked up into his black orbs, getting lost in them before she blinked, her almost smiling look falling into a look of discomfort, "Hey, Gohan. Let's get this over with. I wanna learn how to fly already," Videl's attitude changed to a happy one like a kid getting praise from a parent, however, soon became an unhappy scowl again when a girl dropped down from the sky right next to the boy she likes putting her shoulder on his.
"Hey, Gohan, are we gonna start training? Because I didn't know you were gonna leave me behind back at the house. I was getting ready so I thought you can of at least waited?" she scowled, hands on her hips in a demeaning way. Videl was curious and dare she say jealous about this new girl, "Who is this, Gohan?" asked Videl casually, trying not to growl.
However, this girl caught her attention, she could feel her body warming up when looking at the girl's chest and curves and as well heat up when looking at Gohan.
Angel felt the same thing happen to her when looking at how beautiful Videl is and her curves and chest.
And at that moment they both knew what they felt.
Videl bit her lip and looked away blushing, 'Is it possible? Do I have a crush on both Gohan and this girl…? Awesome.' Videl thought, inwardly squealing with joy.
Angel looked down doing the same thing as Videl, 'I never thought I would have a crush on both Gohan and such a girl like Videl…..? Awesome, very…awesome indeed. I have to find a way to gain their affection' Angel thought, inwardly squealing with joy.
Gohan waved a hand in front of them, "Hey, girls you in there?" Videl shook her thoughts away, "Yes, yes. So, what is her name Gohan?"
"Oh, my name is A…" She began.
"Angel is her name. I found her in that giant mountain over there, frozen in a block of ice yesterday after you left."
Videl's mouth opened a little as she nodded slowly, "Yeah… Ok…" she smiled, unsure about how to process how this girl was still alive in the first place.
Angel clapped her hands together, "Right, let's get training Gohan."
Videl nodded, liking the way this girl thought. Gohan explained to Videl to do the same thing as yesterday, while he helped Angel with the basics.
Videl struggled once again, and with Gohan helping out her new second crush, she was on her own.
She grit her teeth, 'Come on girl, your Videl Satan...you can...do...this… Ugh...' Videl instructed herself gruffly. From afar over on a hilltop was Goten. He was watching her seeing how she was doing curiously since he had no more butterflies to catch due to catching them all.
Videl clenched her fists even harder to the point where she thought popped a vein, 'Guh, come on girl… I need...to get this..right...' when hearing a gasp in front of her she looked down at Goten who looked a bit...shorter than usual to her perspective, however, she had no idea she was floating 20 feet off the ground.
"What is it Goten? Why are you staring at me amazed?" Videl asked confused, and when seeing Goten point below her she discovered that she was higher off the ground than yesterday.
"WHOA?" Videl shouted, her balance started getting crazy when Gohan came to help readjust her properly. Videl began floating around slowly, just enough for Gohan to catch her as he followed her around. Videl strained to use her energy to smile at Gohan and Goten, but curiously looked at her 2nd crush and noticed how calm and collected she was as she lifted 40 feet off the ground. That display made Videl jealous. She wanted to do that so she started flying straight in loops, carefully planned loops as to not fall on her head, back or butt. Hopefully, Gohan would be there to catch her. When landing back next to her crushes Videl smiled at them, they smiled back as Gohan began instructing more to them.
Unknown to them, Angel's space pod is an artificial intelligence and has transformed into a lethal killing machine and was at this point spying on them. His invisible to the eye laser targeter was aiming straight at Videl. Its rockets were silent but deadly.
"Hehe...now your friend will die…" it said charging the rockets aimed at the enthusiastic Videl.
"Sayonara."
The rockets were unleashed upon Videl flying at top speed.
When the 3 of them were done laughing, Gohan caught them out the corner of his eye. He sprung into action and blocked the attack of missiles. Videl fell to the ground, shocked that Gohan was just hit by missiles but remembered that he can deflect bullets and calmed down.
Angel spotted a giant robot that was lumbering over the mountain and took a stance.
He scanned the 4 occupants around it, "Targets identified. Videl Satan, Son Gohan, Angel and Son Goten. It's eye extended in and out, "Targets must die…." Gohan had enough, the robot fell to the ground in a blaze after Gohan dove through its hull faster than anyone could see.
Videl looked at Gohan and then it hit her, "YOU'RE THE GOLDEN FIGHTER? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME GOHAN?" she was enraged now and it wouldn't be easy to calm her down is what Angel was about to find out. Her anger was through the roof as she was right up in Gohan's face, "YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO MISTER? HOW CAN YOU DO THAT? EXPLAIN NOW."
Gohan was confused until he noticed that he had turned Super Saiyan to protect her. Now knowing his predicament he looked to Angel for help only to see her with her eyes closed with a cheery devilish smile on her face, she was on Videl's side or so he thought, she found this amusing.
Gohan looked back the piercing eyes of his short-haired friend and sighed, "Fine Videl. I'll tell you…" Angel lost her smile and walked to his side to explain the story and by the end of it Videl believed them full on.
"This is awesome. I can't believe I'm friends with a half-alien and an alien of the same species yet full… WOW." She was smiling like a ninny.
'I'm like 2 aliens...wow? Best day of my life.' Videl thought happily.
Gohan stood up, he wiped the grass off his gi and stretched, "Well it's getting late, I'm gonna take Angel back to my house, goodnight Videl." Gohan said picking Angel up and flying away back to his house.
"BYE GOHAN, NICE TO MEET YOU, ANGEL." Waved Videl. Videl put her hands together and giggled, 'Ah...Gohan...Angel," her eyes lit up when thinking about them.
She de-capsulized her jetcopter and left for home. About halfway to her house, she realized something, "WHY THE HELL WAS I THINKING ABOUT HER BODY AND HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE WAS? I SHOULD ONLY BE THINKING ABOUT GOHAN." yelled Videl facepalming, furious that she liked a girl. Though as the more time went on during the trek back home she couldn't get over her crush for Angel and the more she thought about her, the more she fell more for both Gohan and Angel.
Angel was having the same internal conflict, which Gohan couldn't tell she was to her relief thank goodness.
'Why the hell do I feel an attraction to Videl? I really shouldn't like girls. Girls and guys are completely different genders...come on Angel.' Angel put her hand on her heart when she came to the conclusion that she felt an attraction for both Gohan and Videl. And then both girls realized something.
They were falling in love with each other and Gohan, they couldn't deny this feeling and both went to sleep peacefully. Well, Videl had to wait an extra hour before getting home but she slept peacefully once she did.
Gohan left secretly to go out training to try and achieve a higher level of Super Saiyan to see if he can keep its power in check just in case to not kill anyone with its power. He learned from turning Super Saiyan 2 a few months after The Cell Games where he killed a robber raiding his house.
Unknown to him, Piccolo stood a ways back in the forest to survey his student with his power in case it got too out of control.
"Knock the brat out if his power gets too out of control in somehow achieving a new form. Can't have anyone dying on us now would we?" Vegeta's request kept ringing through Piccolo's head. Meditation was a better pastime than just watching some boring old workout routine.
Gohan felt his power rise for a second then back down to Super Saiyan 2 level, out of breath, and out of ideas.
Piccolo noticed this and smirked, 'Nice job kid, you just like your father.'
Gohan breathed heavily, enough that to the normal person would think he's having an asthma attack, "How...long...have you been...there...Piccolo?"
Wide-eyed that he knew this Piccolo straight back to standing straight, "So, your ki sensing abilities have heightened over the years I see kid."
Gohan turned slightly to look at him, smiling back at him, "You're absolutely right Piccolo," he said returning to his base form and laughing.
Piccolo chuckled, "You certainly are your father's son, not that I mean anything about going out for days to train or die every battle," Gohan caught the joke and laughed loudly scaring the birds away from their sleep.
Piccolo walked up to him looking serious, Gohan found that Piccolo's hand was on his shoulder, "Gohan, I know you found a Saiyan girl in the forbidden mountain of the 439 mountain area, listen, we shouldn't trust her fully. It takes a while before a mysterious person gets my trust. And Angel isn't one to trust fully," he said emphasizing her name. Gohan nodded, showing he understood his mentor's distrust.
Piccolo gripped Gohan's shoulder harder, "Tell me do you…"
"Not trust her? Eh, 50/50 actually." Gohan said, luckily Angel wasn't out here because that would get her angry.
Piccolo nodded, "Good, we shouldn't trust this much ye, we have no idea if that video you found was a decoy and she was intentionally frozen in the ice for a reason to kill us all and destroy Earth."
"How do you know about the video?" Gohan said suspiciously.
Piccolo laughed, "Dende saw what you were watching, plus he informed me after you left the cave with her."
Gohan rolled his eyes, "Seriously? Stop spying on my business…"
"Though that Videl girl seems trustworthy enough...why not go out with her?" Piccolo teased. Gohan looked disgusted at him, "Seriously? I don't feel anything for both of them…"
Piccolo chuckled once again and it was a knowing chuckle, "You're not fooling me, I know that tone of yours, you are conflicted about who you should like. I'm not gonna tell you who to like but make it a wise choice," he entrusted him before taking off back towards the Lookout.
Gohan sighed, 'So much for a friendly conversation,' Gohan told himself facepalming. Gohan got back to work with training and by the time morning came around he was absolutely frustrated with his progress. Gohan growled, smashed the ground with his hands and screamed out
"EXCELLENT. IT'S MORNING NOW? I might as well be a copy of Vegeta" Gohan said angrily.
Noticing it was dawn, Gohan flew back home to get ready for school. Unknown to him that Chichi woke Angel up in the middle of the night to teach her some school stuff and she got it quickly and was smart now already but not as smart as Bulma and Gohan. To her surprise, Gohan walked in a few minutes later, she smiled and said something that shocked him.
"Hey, Gohan, I'm gonna attend school with you today," she squealed.
Gohan spit out his food all over Goten once again, "Why does this always happen to me?"
"YOUR WHAT?"
