Intro: The Call…
Okay, Sonic, just tap her on the shoulder and ask her out, thought the super-speed running blue hedgehog Sonic, who was sweating up a storm. He was about to ask Amy out, when Amy beat him to it by turning around and seeing him, looking stunned but recovering. Then she told him, "Hey, Sonic. I was looking for you so I could ask you something."
"Me too, Amy," replied the just as startled Sonic.
"You first," she said.
"No, you."
"Okay. Sonic, will you go out with me?"
"Hell yeah! Uh, I mean I was just about to ask you the same thing," Sonic replied both happily and sheepishly. Amy laughed, and then asked, "Olive Garden, 9:30 okay?"
"Sure," Sonic replied…
Later, at 10 'till 9:00, Sonic remembered something. "Oh, fu-," he started to say, but was stopped short by the ringing of his cell phone. "Hello?" he said into the speaker of the cell. "Hey, man." It was Shadow. "What the hell do you want, traitor?" answered Sonic. "I just wanted to tell you that I know your secret." Fuck, how does he know? Sonic thought. "Why did you call me, traitor?" Sonic asked. "Because, I found out that you have a date tonight, but it's a new moon, and your curse comes into affect every new moon, like a werewolf on a full moon, am I correct?" Shadow replied. After he said that, Sonic immediately hung up. He had started to sweat. He had two choices: go on the date and possibly kill Amy, the love of his life, or stay at home and leave her alone at the Olive Garden to wait until sunrise when he changes back to normal. Either way he loses. So he chose to take his chances at the restaurant…
