Sora-san: This is a poem I wrote from Kairi to Sora and um...I don't know what else to say about it. Please don't try to understand it--just read it and let me know what you think. Also note that I do not own Kingdom Hearts.
From Me To You
A Poem From Kairi to Sora
There's a ringing in my ears I can't describe.
His voice, it calls to me, for I can see his lips moving.
No sound comes out.
What are you saying?
Is that my name?
Your face fades from my memory.
Like a falling star you seem so out of reach.
Do you cry yourself to sleep at night?
Sometimes I do.
You alone are my comfort and I long for your warm embrace.
Can your hear me calling?
Sora? Sora? Are you there?
It's me, I'm here.
And I'm still waiting.
Waiting for you to find me or for me to chance upon you.
How long must I wait?
When will you be here?
I want to look for you…but how?
I don't even know where to begin.
I don't even remember who I'm looking for these days.
Somehow I'll find you—that I know.
We made a promise, you and I.
It's time we kept it.
And when I finally see you again, do you know what I'll say?
"Hey you. It's been a while."
God I've missed that smile.
Just let me see that smile one more time.
Please.
Just let me see him one more time.
Maybe he'll be sad.
Maybe he'll be angry.
Maybe he'll be happy.
But he'll be there.
And I can say to him, "Hello."
"So you're that person I missed."

The words convey from me to you.
I'll always stay where the light is.
