Disclaimer: I only own Willow.
AN: Well hello people, I have made up my mind to write a prequel to Big Girls Don't Cry.
Sooooooo, here it is. Basically it's the lives of Willow, George and Fred up until the first chapter of Bright as Day, Black as Night.
I hope you like ;)
20th of December 1983, 12 Grimmauld Place.
Five-year-old Willow Black was sitting up in bed, a book in her hands.
Sighing, she closed the book and slid out of her bed, grabbing some clothes from the dresser next to her bed and pulling them over her head; then heading towards the bathroom to brush her teeth.
She headed down the stairs, stopping when she heard a crash come from the front room. "Mummy?" she asked in a small voice.
There was no reply, so Willow continued down the stairs, went over to the living room door and pushed it open.
The sight that met her eyes was her mother lying on the floor, cuts running over her body. She noticed a man in black robes standing in the middle of the room.
"Avada Kedavra." he said almost calmly, a hint of pleasure in his voice, his wand pointed at Willow's mother.
Willow saw a flash of green light, and not noticing the man apparate away, she ran to her mother's side.
"Mummy," she whispered, "mummy," she repeated, a little louder this time. She kept saying the same word repeatedly.
She did not hear the door open; she did not hear someone come into the room either.
At the funeral, it was only Willow and some of her mother's friends there; Willow's Aunt and Uncle, Willow's mother's sister and brother, hadn't been told, but they each still invited Willow to come and stay with them for two months of the year.
Willow liked her uncle far more than she liked her aunt, but loved both of them. No one ever knew that the months she got to spend with them were the happiest of each year, because when she was with them, she was reminded there was someone there.
For nearly a year after her mother's death, Willow would wake up screaming in the middle of the night, her aunt and uncle never knew it was because of the nightmares.
Willow never told anyone, she did not know how; at least, Willow thought she never would know.
AN: Sorry the first chapter is so short, I didn't know how to write it and new idea's kept popping into my head every five minutes.
Anyway, I hope you like, all you have to do is click the button and give me some love, I'm not hard to please. ;)
