A/n: Hi again, this is a COMPANION piece to Life in a Museum. You don't have to read, since both of these can be read as stand alones, but the first one is Draco's view, second one is Harry's. Also, if anybody is willing to adopt my chaptered fics, please let me know. I don't believe that I will be writing anymore, so it would be awesome if someone could finish them for me.

Disclaimer: J.K Rowling own's 'em; I just mess with the boys a little. Lyrics by Framing Hanley.

Dedication: You know who you are, and the fact that I love you :)

You know, it's hard to smile for you, to pretend that everything's okay.

You and I both know it's not.

But what do we do? We keep up appearances, pretend to be the worst of enemies

All I want to show them is that I love you.

The guts it's taken you just to say what you mean. Let's do this right tonight, cause there's no in between.

I can see how much you want to prove to them that things have changed; it's in your eyes.

But, no.

That Malfoy pride gets in the way.

It tears me into shreds that you can't say it.

The self deprication of what you put faith in has brought you to your knees. You're waiting at the starting line. What if the gun is empty?

I've given up on loving you.

I've tried to move on, I really have. I went so far as to go to Ginny.

Well, she cheated on me.

After that, I just fell to pieces. The only things I have left are a bruised ego and a broken heart.

Run, leave it all alone. Just run. It's all in your hands, all in your hands.

With my battered mind, I cornered you in the hall.

I yelled and screamed; my heart was bared to you.

You narrowed your eyes and walked away.

The questions never asked, you'll never find the answer. Waiting for the truth could become your cancer.

I didn't hear what you said when you came up to today, and honestly, I didn't care.

I just wanted you to feel pain; to feel the way I've felt for too long.

To your credit, you didnt flinch when my fist connected to your jaw.

You knew it was coming.

That could form in ways in this tragic way, have this stage set for a great ending. We're miles from the finish line. Is your heart worth defending?

You wouldn't fight. You refused to.

I couldn't help the scream that emitted from my throat.

"Why don't you fight back?!"

Your eyes reach mind, letting me know everything.

I think I understand now.

We've taken this for way too long. We're taking this tonight.

You mutter something, low enough for me to hear, but I can't understand the words.

The blood is pounding in my ears and my body starts to move.

We're taking this alive. You're standing at the finish line. We're taking this alive.

When my lips finally reached yours, my heart seemed to mend.

"Thank you..." I whispered.

You just smirked and grabbed my hand.

Leave it all and run.
