Luke was happy to see his father next to his Jedi mentors. He really did go back to the light side of the force.. and I helped him get there. Luke smiled when Leia put her arm around him, he was happy to have a sister. "Leia, ca.." Luke Started but Leia finished for him "Skip the party? Sure, but promise to tell me what happened up there sometime." Luke laughed and promised to tell her what happened on the death star.
Sometime, not yet I still am having trouble understanding what went on. Luke went off to his hole in a tree and tried to get some sleep. Luke tosses and turned all night long, not really know what was keeping him up.
The next morning Leia woke him up to tell him that they were all leaving to go to Coruscant. "Luke, wake up." Leia told him. Luke sat up and stretched. "I'm up, have been all night." Luke told her. "I think we should have a medic droid look at you." Luke agreed know better than to fight with Leia. Luke dressed in his black Jedi Knight outfit and stepped outside. Han and Leia were waiting for him. "I didn't see you at the party kid, something wrong?" Han asked while holding Leia's hand. Luke looked at Han and Leia.
Did I miss something? Luke thought. "Luke can you help me find threepio?" Leia asked after a few moments of silence. "Sure Leia" Luke answered as he stared at Leia's outfit. "What? is there a spot on the outfit." Leia asked finally noticing that Luke was starring.
"No, no Its just that..well..um Leia your outfit...sort of doesn't match" Luke told her struggling to find a diplomatic way to tell her. "what?" Leia gasped looking down at her clothes noticing the she had on a plaid shirt and striped pants. "Oh my stars. I have been so busy lately..." Leia never finished her sentence because they all burst out laughing.
Later that night when Luke,Leia,Han,Chewie and the droids had piled on to the falcon, Leia went to talk to Han. "Han," she said as she entered the cockpit. "We should tell Luke." Han gestured for Chewie to leave. Chewie Left and shut the door as Leia sat down in the copilots chair. "I guess we can tell Luke." Han told Leia with no enthusiasm at all. Leia smiled and kissed Han, then sat back in her chair. "Well, go get Luke!" Leia got up and left the cockpit to get her twin.
I wonder what He will say when he finds out. Han though as Leia walked in will Luke behind her. "What did you wanna tell me Han?" Luke asked "Me?! Leia you can tell him." Han told Leia "Okay, I will tell him." There was silence for several minutes. Leia looked like she was searching for the right words. "Well, Leia are you gonna tell him we are engaged or not?" Han suddenly said. Luke just starred at the two of them, I knew there was something I missed . "Well, Congratulations!" Luke told the two of them with a huge smile on his face. Leia and Han smiled back at Luke Knowing that they didn't have to say anything.
