The blonde haired girl in the corner laughed as her boyfriend and lover threw his arm carelessly around her. She sunk back onto it, a reflex from past years. She fit perfectly with him, she had decided that ages ago.

While the pretty blonde was cozy in the arms of another, she didn't notice the young boy sitting in the shadows. He sat alone, holding a cold pizza in his hands, poised on his lips to take a bite. But he didn't. He was watching the girl. He glared at her with a hate and a passion.

No one noticed.

The boy shoved back a strand of hair that didn't exist. His eyes were ice. His fingers that had held the pizza were now placed delicately on the table top, drumming to a tune that was only in his head. It was his way of ignoring the happy couple across from him.

The girl had once belonged to him. They had shared kisses in the dark, giggles over cokes and tears during fights. And she had thrown them away, tossed them into a dark oblivion that didn't matter. She betrayed him ever so subtly, rejecting him for another.

It hurt. His heart had been ripped out, stomped on and worse of all she didn't seem to notice. She was too content in her new lover's arms to notice the broken boy.

It was a horrible feeling- rejection. It was one he was not accustomed to deal with. It stung, a fire that took over him. It was slowly suffocating him.

It kept him from breathing as he watched the girl's lover lean in for a kiss. He watched her laugh and nod, her face getting closer and closer to him. Inch by inch. He watched her tongue go into the boys mouth.

He himself had housed her tongue once. It was a passion. It was foreign but addicting. It was love. And it didn't exist to him anymore.

The more passionate the kiss grew, the more disgusted he grew. He tried to keep his eyes from drifting over to the two. But it was impossible. His eyes were working against his will, rapt on the couple.

It was at that moment he decided he couldn't stand it. He grabbed his cold pizza and clutched his coke and walked out.

But Amy Abbott and Ephram Brown did not notice Colin Heart slip out. They were too busy snogging in the corner.
