(This is my first Aaron and Marta fanfic so bare with me. There will hopefully be more. This one is based on the song "I Turn to You" by Christina Aguilera. )
Marta was afraid.
In fact she was terrified.
In the past 48 hours, one of her co workers had opened fire on her and other co workers in the lab that she worked in.
Then after that strange people had come to her house and tried to kill her…that is until Aaron showed up.
Aaron Cross…. That was a whole new can of worms.
This strange man showed up out of nowhere and saved her life.
He was an outcome agent and she knew that, she had seen him during previous visits at the lab.
She has always thought he was very handsome, but since she was a doctor she kept her opinions to herself.
He whisked her away on a dangerous but whirlwind adventure where both of them faced down death many times.
But things changed between the two.
Anytime she felt scared or as if she couldn't go on, she would look to Aaron.
He was always so stoic and strong.
With a squeeze of a hand or even calm reassurance, she felt like she could face anything.
He was her rock and she was his.
He would always tell her that he would never let anything happen to her. That he would always protect her no matter what.
And she believes every word.
