The painfully irradiated troll stood there staring. His eyes screamed boredom and hate, as usual, as he ran his hands nervously through his thick, spiked black hair. The little nubs of his horns brushed the pale gray skin of his fingers.
"Are you just going to stand there like a total idiot or are we going to do something today", He spat out at the troll in front of him.
"Well uhh, I guess we can do what you want to do today. After all, um, you were the one who said we should hang out Karkat", the taller troll said shyly.
"Ugh just make up your mind fuckass, I don't want to be here longer than I have to" Karkat groaned.
Why he ever took that stupid bet with Terezi he will never know. Maybe it was he snarky tone she used when addressing him, or that dumb arrogant grin she had spread across her face. Either way he had marched his way down Tavros's hive. All to prove one thing, he could spend a day with every single troll in the hemospectrum.
"Well uh we can go play some fiduspawn if you up for it? The long horned troll asked.
"Whatever let's just try to make this as painless as possible".
The two trolls sat at a white desk, chairs pulled up on either side. Tavros smoothly slid Karkat a thick deck of cards. Tavros pulled out an equally stacked deck, Tinkerbull flittering over and landing in his fuzzy mohawk.
"Do you um, know how to play?" Tavros asked hesitantly.
"Fuck no, but how hard can it this idiotic game be to figure out", Karkat said examining a card.
"Well if you need help, don't hesitate to ask", Tavros said with a shy smile.
"Ok whatever let's just start this game".
Tavros drew six cards from the deck and held them in his hand. Karkat mirrored his movements and drew six cards of his own. Tavros examined his cards and placed one face up on the table.
"I summon the uh grand hoofbeast elder! Um, it's your turn now Karkat".
Karkat gave is cards a long, hard stare. Suddenly he slammed his hand on the table. "Fuck this shit, I quit."
Tavros only smiled. "We'll find something, else to do then, fiduspawn is pretty hard to uh, learn".
Karkat's aggravated frown formed into a devious smile. "I have an idea".
