"Oohh, mooore…" came the distinctively male moan from camp. Kagome and Inuyasha stopped dead in their tracks, looking at each other with wide eyes.
There had been a rather challenging battle that afternoon and a long trek on the road before the group was able to find a hot spring and create a suitable camping spot. Inuyasha and Kagome had snuck off alone to the spring after camp had been set up, leaving Miroku and Sango alone. Neither couple had been married for long and the trips out to exterminate demons didn't leave them much time to enjoy the company of their spouses. Any chance at a few stolen moments alone was greatly appreciated and no one couple wanted to interrupt the other, which seemed to be what Inuyasha and Kagome were about to do had they not heard the moan. They were on the edge of camp, just about to break into the clearing when they had been stopped dead in their tracks.
"Inuyasha?" Kagome questioned quietly, blushing. Hearing a feminine grunt she took a step back, rethinking their decision to return to camp. It was clear to her by the sound of the voices something was going on that should not be interrupted. "Maybe we shouldn't interrupt them. Let's go back to the spring for a while longer."
"Oi, wench. We've been gone long enough. It's after dark and I'm hungry. Let's go." Inuyasha grumbled under his breath as he drug his mate into camp by the hand he had been holding, her eyes squeezed shut. "Open your eyes!"
"No! I don't want to see what they're doing! They may not be decent!" Kagome sounded indignant as they burst through the brush. Not being able to see because her eyes were still shut, she walked right into Inuyasha's back. Bouncing off, she landed on her butt on the ground.
Kagome could hear Inuyasha laughing and, still not opening her eyes to see what he was looking at; she thought he was laughing at her. She said loudly, "Stop laughing at me, Inuyasha!"
"I said open your eyes, wench!"
"I said no! I don't want to see what they're doing!"
"Oh, you'll wanna see this," Inuyasha shot back, still laughing.
Kagome slowly opened her left eye, leaving the right one tightly shut. What she saw through the tiny crack between her eyelids made both eyes shoot wide open. There before her was Miroku and Sango, fully clothed, however, the taijiya was standing on the monk's back as he lay stomach down on the ground. Every so often he would moan, "More" and she would lightly bounce on his spine with a grunt. After every bounce he would let out a low groan of appreciation.
"Finally got the monk at your feet, eh Sango?" Inuyasha jabbed, laughing heartily to himself.
