Alrighty then!
After being away for some time and not writing much since then, I've decided to dip my toes into the pool. . . again. But instead of focusing in a major story (As I'm currently re-writing some of my older ones), I'll warm myself up with drabbles instead. And just because they are drabbles that by no way means I don't have a storyline in mind.
Last but not least - this is my first time ever trying out my hand in the cute-fluffiness genre.
.: First Sight :.
He's been standing there for the last ten minutes; one pastry on his right hand and another on his left. It appeared to her that he had been weighing them literally. Not that she had been observing him or anything. . .
Come to think about it, it was her job to watch him. . . what with her being the cashier and responsible of the bakery shop. Plus, it was part of her job to help out a customer.
Kasumi cleared her throat as she approached his side, "is there anything you need help with?"
Naruto turned to her with a questionable look etched upon his features as he brought up the two pastries. "Tell me, which of these two are the sweetest?"
"They're both sweet," Kasumi responded knowingly. "Actua-"
"No, that won't do." Naruto pondered out loud, apparently unaware that he interrupted her. "Well then, which of these two would you pick?"
A light smile crossed her lips; if there was anything she loved about working in the bakery shop, it would be offering her favorites. "I'll go with the one on your right. With the cream cheese swirl paired alongside with the strawberry jelly, why, it offers the tastiest treat."
Naruto grinned, "funny, I was going to go with that one."
Kasumi couldn't help but smile.
