A Day in the Life of Carlisle (I'm going to do this for every charter)

It was the beginning of the week we got back from hunting last night and now Esme and I were lying in bed, Edward was playing Bella's lullaby, Alice is cleaning up around the house (but we don't need it) with Jasper hovering over her shoulder, Emmet and rose were arm wrestling, and Jacob was here early, so he could go to school, keeping Renesmee happy.
I sighed, 7:55 the clock read, "Dear, I've got to go to work"
"Do you have to?"
"I could call in sick" but she knew I loved what I did and would never keep me from it.
"No go." she sighed "just promise me that you'll spend time with the family after"
"I promise."
We walked, holding hands, at human speed down the stair case. We went round the room kissing each head as we passed. "Bye" they all chimed in a chorus.
On the way to work I had just enough time to think about what was ahead of me. Alice hadn't given me any precautions so it was either a normal day or she hadn't seen anything yet. "I hope that something exciding will happen." I mumbled to myself. Just nothing to dangerous though.
As I pulled into my usual spot and got out of the car, the smell hit me like a wrecking ball (I'd even tried to kill my self that way). It was Charlie. Alice and Edward were both pretty tense earlier maybe they didn't want to worry Bella. Maybe Charlie would turn out fine and they wanted to protect Bella from hurting Charlie (even though she was doing fine).
As soon as I got in the building I located Charlie. He had a gun shot wound but just in the leg. Good not too serious.
After I pulled out the bullet and stitched him up I called Edward and told him that Bella couldn't come to the hospital but that I would take Charlie to his house and Bella could come see him there.
By the time we got to the house they were already there, Bella was a mess, but Charlie, still loopy from the drugs, didn't notice. Sue agreed to help Charlie for about month, till Charlie could get around on his own. He wouldn't be able to work so we agreed to help with his expenses. He fell asleep right away and that was the only patient I got to that day.
I got home and went to my office. There was a knock and Esme came in. "So much for family time. Bella, Edward, Renesmee, and Jacob are still at Charlie's Alice took jasper shopping and rose and Emmet are borrowing Bella and Edwards cottage. But I think you need a stress reliever."
We danced for two hours in the living room. Then Alice and Jasper got home and we went into our room and closed the door.
