How He Got Her to Stay

A/N: This is my first fan fic so please by honest but gentle. The story is based off another fan fic Come Back Running, So I guess you could call this a fan fan fic.

Every morrow she would awake him with such ire,

to tell him that what happened the previous night never again transpire.

This patterned continued for many more days and nights,

with her returning again and again because she could not go without their fights.

Until, unknown to her, her lover he began to conspire,

for he cared for her more than just a lustful desire.

First he was able to talk her into taking a drawer,

but he quickly changed it into the key to his door.

Then he would seek her out during the day,

and talk her into sneaking away.

He took her to parks and galleries,

with each visit he noted a decline in her boundaries.

When she showed up at nights,

he would greet her with surprising sights.

Her favorite rose, wine, or dish,

and promised her anything she but wish.

Finally after a fortnight of this she began to respond,

and started to look past their lawful bond.

For you see, they were stepsister and brother,

and had met when their parents married each other.

Despite that they almost always spat,

the opposites did feel the attract.

But for their family's sake,

they had refused to let love take.

Only years later with an empty marriage for her,

and for him loose woman and beer when finally it did occur.

Car troubles and no one else who could help,

she was forced to turn to the man she loved to whelp.

They started to argue about his driving,

her believing that he must be insane from high living.

He countered by saying that she wouldn't be such a keener,

if her husband wasn't giving everyone but her his weiner.

Angered, she began to slap him,

only for him to declare it was on then.

He grabbed her wrists,

and yanked her into a kiss.

That night the pattern began,

all because he wouldn't switch into a lane.

To take care of terrible husband and jerk,

they decided that the lawyering was a perk.

To her unfaithful husband papers were servered,

her true love noting that it was better than the man deserved.

Which the foul man agreed,

and took her to court with plans of greed.

But the court found in her favor when proof of cheating she relate,

by showing them mistresses one through eight.

Now how to tell the family without risk?

He solved that by pulling her into a deep kiss.

When finally their lips parted, she turned, expecting their family wrath for their sinful crime,

but instead was greeted with a heaven chorus of "Its about damn time."

But what tale are these lovers with good looks and stubbornness of a brick,

without her screaming, "DER-EK! These are your demons kids I'm having. Stop flirting with the nurses and get in here."

"Don't yell at me woman."

And they lived happily ever after, god help us.
