It was a cool afternoon in D.C. and many people were inside their apartments staying warm. That is, all except a couple that just finished eating a decided to take a walk.

"Are you ok?" asked Jack when he saw a unusual expression cross Sue's face.

"Yes, just thinking," she replied

"Give you a penny for your thoughts" said Jack with a small smile.

"Um, well..." she studdered trying to find the right words. Ever since she and Jack went undercover as a married couple, she has felt something different, something stronger than friendship. She had been thinking about it a lot here lately and she wanted to tell Jack her feelings and just get it over with, but at the same time, she was scared of how he might think and feel about her to. Just as she got enough courage to finally say something...

"Opps! I'm so sorry!" she said." I didn't mean to run into you! I..I guess I wasn't paying attention!"

"Well, next time pay attention to where you are walking lady!" replied the man that Sue had just bumped into.

At that moment, Jack was furious with the man for his unpoliteness, and he could feel steam boiling up inside him. That was, until he looked down and felt a hand rest on his arm to stop him from punching the guy. When he finally looked up, his eyes locked on with Sue's.

"Jack,"

"Yes, Sue?"

"I wanted to talk to you about something that has been on my mind here lately. Um, well, I'm just gonna say it right out. I..I love you Jack" said Sue

"Really?" said Jack.

"Yes, and I would understand if you didn't feel the same way about me, but I just had to say that and...Jack?" said Sue questionly as she saw him get down on one knee.

"Sue, I love you to...I'm sorry it took so long for finally one of us to admit it, but Sue, I really do love you so much. You mean everything to me and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." replied Jack

"You do?" she said as tears were streaming down here face.

"Yes, I do. So, Susan Thomas, Will you marry me?" said a teary eyed Jack.

"Yes! oh, yes Jack I'll marry you!" was her reply.

And they both lived Happily Ever After...The End...For Now!
