Bella meets Edward in Las Vegas. She is there for a wedding I believe. They get drunk and get married, but she takes off and goes home to New York not knowing. He tracks her down and convinces her to give the marriage a chance. He moves to New York and goes to the World Trade Center for an interview, but 9/11 happens. Bella starts to freak out thinking he is dead, but he makes it home okay just very dirty. They end up living happily ever after.
