Prologue: Dark Knight Kidnaps Sheba
Ever since Vale got destroyed by the rising of the Goldensun, Isaac and friends have been staying at Vault's inn while Vale was being rebuilt. One late night at the inn, Isaac heard a scream from Sheba outside. He looked outside a window and saw that Sheba was being kidnapped by a man in black armor.
"Help me!" yelled out Sheba as she was being carried away by the mysterious man.
Since everybody else was sleeping, Isaac had to confront the kidnapper himself.
"Take your hands off Sheba!" Isaac shouted to the man.
"What makes you think that I'll do that?" questioned the mysterious man.
"What do you want with her?" asked Isaac.
"You'll find out later. By the way, I'm a dark knight," replied the man.
"I guess that I'll have to fight you," Isaac said.
"You can try all you want, darkness conquers all," said the dark knight.
Purple shockwaves came out of the dark night's body at Isaac.
Isaac said, "Darn it! I don't have enough time to do Megiddo!"
After the purple shockwaves hit Isaac hard, the dark night looked at the Sol Blade, then said, "You are no match for me. I'll see you another time."
Just like that, the dark knight opened up a vortex and went into it. Since Isaac couldn't leave Sheba with the dark knight, he jumped into the portal after the dark night.
Sorry for the chapter being so short. No, there isn't an Isaac/Sheba relationship in this story. Sheba isn't even one of my favorite Goldensun characters, but she is still important to the story.
Like I said above, it's just the prologue. Since the only Star Fox game I have is Star Fox 64, I'll probably wait to make the chapters of the story when I catch up with the later Star Fox games. I'm getting Star Fox Adventures for Christmas, but I'll probably have to get the other games on my birthday, which is a really long time from Christmas. If I continue on with the story without playing the later Star Fox games, Star Fox will be replaced by either Numbuh Two from Codename: Kids Next Door, or Lloyd from Tales of Sympthia when I beat it. Since I really want Isaac to join up with Star Fox, you might have to wait a while. By the way, I used to believe that Peppy from Star Fox 64 was a girl. I know that the prologue wasn't that great, but the story will be better in the next chapter. Of course, the chapters will be longer too. If you liked the story, please send me a positive review.
