Daddy Chaddy
The cries were heard coming from Elizabeth's room. Sighing, Sonny got out of bed to see to her daughter when she got stopped by her husband. "Sweetheart, let me get this" Chad said softly. "Hmm" Sonny muttered before nodding off again. 30 minutes later Sonny realised that Chad has yet to come back to bed. Swinging her legs round to the side of the bed, Sonny jump out and quietly crept to Elizabeth's room. Peaking in, she saw Chad sitting beside their daughters' bed reading a story to her. 'And then she sat in my chair...' said Chad imitating little bears high pitch voice. Sonny pushed her back against the door frame, watching her husband finish reading 'The Three Little Bears.' "Night sweetheart, sweet dreams" Chad said soothingly to Elizabeth before kissing her forehead and pulling her quilt over her sleeping body. Chad crept out of Elizabeth's room as quietly as he could. Turning round, he saw Sonny with a big, sleepy smile on her face. "Jesus Christ Sonny! How long have you been there?" said Chad after being scared shitless. "You're so good with her." a sleepy Sonny said. "Hey she's daddies little girl, I've got to be a good father!" came Chad's response. Upon hearing that come from her husbands' mouth, a sweet giggle came from Sonny's mouth. "Come on handsome, let's get to bed. We are up early for Lizzie's birthday tomorrow." Chad's sleepy response was "Hmm" Sonny continued "I can't believe the kids have grown up so fast. Dylan's 8 in 2 weeks, Elizabeth was 6 2 months ago and Lizzie will be 4 tomorrow." "I know sweetheart, feels like yesterday when i met you." Chad said with his million dollar smile beaming on his face. "Hmm, such a sweet talker. Let's get to bed babe. Night" Sonny said before kissing Chad and nodding off in to a deep slumber. Chad whispered, "Night Sonshine" then, like his wife, fell into a deep slumber.
One of the shortest one shots I've wrote I think but I like it :D
