I think I might write more of these little "Gilligan Diary" stories just to pass the time. You have no idea how much fun it is to intentionally misspell words; my only problem is remembering to misspell some words!

Dear Diary,
Its Fathers Day and Im missing my dad back hom. Weve ben on this iland for almost a year. I miss all my familly, akchually, but sinse its Fathers Day Im mostly missing my dad.
My dad is nise and he raized us (me and my brother) well. He tought us how to become men. Well, I dont think I lissened too him too well, coz Im a boy! Skipper tells me all the time that I never grow up. I agree. Id rather be a boy forever and never become a man! But I will be 22 years old soon. I was saposd too become a man when I turnd 18 but that didnt happen.
Skipper is kind of like my other dad here on the iland. He is still trying too make me a man, "bild my caracter" he sez. "Make me offiser material" he sez. I tell him I cant be an offiser coz Im too bizzy beeing the hole crew. But at least hes trying to help me grow up!
I dont want to grow up or get merried or hav kids, thogh. Even thogh Id be a dad and get presents on Fathers Day. Dont tell, but Im going to giv the Skipper sumthing for Fathers Day that he will love! I cant giv anything to my real dad coz hes so far away frum here, but sinse the Skipper is my dad on this iland, I can giv him sumthing insted. Id giv Mr Howell sumthing too, but he already haz evrything so I cant giv him anything he duznt hav already.
OK, I mite giv him sumthing too. And maybee sumthing for the Professer too. There all like fathers too me in sum way.

Also, bit of an update! I got Gilligan's Island season 1 on DVD yesterday and added some of the bonus features info given to add to my story! I wrote a kind of touching scene in Chapter 7 of Lost on Gilligan's Island that I used taking one of Sherwood Shwartz's original ideas for Gilligan and incorporated it into the character and used it to actually build his character.
I hope to post more of these in the future after "G is for Gilligan" is done, and if I can keep myself on schedule this next week, I should be done by next Tuesday. :)
