Cat Valentine was bored. And when she was bored, Sam was annoyed.
"Poke, poke,poke. "
"Can you stop that?" Sam ask as she stops the redhead from poking her cheek again.
"...no. I'm bored and you have to help me."
Cat then resumes her assault on the slightly taller girls face. Sam huffs and lifts herself from the pink sheets of Cat's bed.
"Where ya goin'? "
Sam halts on her way out of the room.
"...come with me."
"Where to? "
"It's a surprise."
Cat squeals and leaps off the bed, chasing Sam down the hall to her Nona's old room.
"You ready for your surprise? " Sam ask as she turns to face Cat.
Cat's answer is an enthusiastic nod.
"I was gonna wait until the summer to actually use this...but whatever. "
Sam opens the door to reveal a dark and seemingly empty room. Cat walks in without turning on the light.
"Watch your *SPLASH* step. "
The now drenched Cat lifts herself from the in ground Jacuzzi.
"Oh no! I'm drowning! " Cat exclaims as she slips back into the hot tube.
"Babe...stand up."
Cat's wild thrashing ceases as she realizes that the water is only to her waist.
"You ok, honey? " Sam ask as she helps Cat from the tub.
"W-when did this get here? Sam we have to call the police! Someone lost their Jacuzzi here! "
Sam facepalms.
"Cat, I had that put there."
"How? When? "
"Ok...so you know how recently I've been really tired when you get home from school? "
"Yeah..."
"That's because I was digging the hole for the Jacuzzi while you were away. I thought it'd be a nice addition to the house. "
"But...we live in an apartment. "
"...oh yeah. Forgot about that. But hey, now we have a cool little relaxing spot. "
Cat wraps Sam up in a bear hug.
"Sam, this is so great. Thank you."
Sam pats the shorter girl's head.
"Yeah. Not a hugger, babe. "
Cat pulls away slightly to peck the other girls cheek.
"I know. You prefer kisses, right? "
Sam turns her head in attempt to hide the forming blush.
"Either would be fine..."
"So, do we break it in? "
"Not tonight. But when Saturday comes, we'll chill in it for the day. Sound good? "
Cat smiles wide as she plants her lips against Sam's.
"Sounds great. "
