Mortal Kombat: A Tale Of Two Sisters
Mileena held back her yells of worry as she watched her sister fight the Earthrealmer. The famous Liu Kang had proven himself quite the fighter the previous tournament, beating both Goro and Shag Sung back to back. In one way, Mileena had a level of respect for him. Beating the four-armed warrior and Outworlds 'favourite' sorcerer was quiet the feet. But the other part of her, the part that held the pride her father had taught her from a young age to never forget in battle, despised the monk's talk about only causing harm when necessary. Kombat, Mileena thought, was supposed to cause harm.
She noticed the female on her left had her brows crossed in a fury/worry expression. Jade. Kintana's personal bodyguard and best friend. Milenna and Jade were close to, but if a situation were to arise where Jade could only protect her or Kitana, she would take Kitana in a heartbeat. And lose her own, if need be. Mileena did have her own bodyguard, Rain, but he was just that, a bodyguard. Now, Milenna knew that ANY man would try to keep her body safe, and a few woman too, but she knew Rain had no interest in her. He had seen her with her mask off, and she understood why no one would ever, EVER love her. That's why she was always thankful for Kitana. She never judged her, never looked at her in horrier or discust, never thought of her as lesser. She was just her sister. And now she was fighting the champion of Mortal Kombat, and it looked like she we winning. As Kitana threw her fan, the Shaolin let out a yell of pain as it dug in his flesh. She jumped-kicked the man, yanking the blade out of him. as Kitana ran to him, Mileena thought in glee Yes my sister, kill him. Save his blood for me so that I may drink it like a rich wine at the victory fest. Her relish was short lived, as Liu Kang jumped overhead, landing behind Kitana. Before the princess could react, the Shaolin was in the air, kicking her repetidly before grabbing her by her throwt and puching her. HARD. The gong echoed the Outword princesses defete and the Earthrealmers victory. Mileena and Jade were down by Kitana's side in the blink of an eye. Jade kneelt beside her, her taned skin touching the princesses white. "She lives. She is just unconshus." Mileena turned, her short hair wiping around in the process. Is snarled at the Earthrealmers. The movie star. The man machine. The OTHER Shaoulin. She was ready to tare every signle one od them apart, savouriving every drop of blood keeping everydropripthereheadsofkillkillall….
Jade snaped Mileena out of her trance. Her face, thought covered, could not hide the steely gaze she was giving her friend. "take Kitana to the apothecary. Have her looked after until her awakening." Mileena kneelt down and took her sister by the arm. She gave the Shaoulin one last look before departing, her sister's mummbels of unconcecness a song of anger and worry.
