Gatsby inspired fanfiction from the view if Gatsby fell in love with Nick instead if Daisy

On the way back from the Plaza, Tom kills Myrtle instead of Daisy, and Nick and Jordan bear witness to it. Tom is beside himself in grief but is unwilling to go to jail or tell Wilson what happened. In a down spiral of desperation and fear, he coerces Nick and Jordan into a promise of silence surrounded by abuse, betrayal, and blackmail.

None of them will ever forget that summer;even as they go about their lives. For better, or for worse Jay Gatsby changed them. Whatever the case the roaring twenties is but the calm before the storm. They will all witness history being made;but for now they focus on healing the wounds left in the wake of Gatsby's death.

But where Daisy failed, another chance comes and it snatches Nick back to West Egg. Now that he's returned, just how much danger, trouble, romance and more can he get into?

What if it wasn't Gatsby and Daisy that met before the war, but Nick and Jordan? Jordan is a young girl of 18 that is caught in the middle of her older and younger sister. However, one night, she meets a handsome soldier by the name of Nick Carraway who is stationed at Camp Taylor. What could conspire between the two before Nick heads off to war? Will they ever be reunited?

Anna Ruby, a wealthy ‘old money’ debutante, is immediately enamored with Nick Carraway. His heart is somewhere else though. Will she find love this summer, or will disappointment, and even a hint of death, come to her life?

I'm writing a story that reimagines and modernizes The Great Gatsby while still keeping the basic story elements. I hope to write more additions to this story with each chapter focusing on a main character's viewpoint.

A small creative writing project I did this semester that I'm really too proud of. / "In the hours after his body was discovered, floating in the pool not unlike a spirit in Purgatory, there was some small chaos concerning the incident." Nick reflects on being questioned by an officer despite the very cut and dry nature of Gatsby's murder at the hands of George Wilson.

A short story based on Jordan Baker from The Great Gatsby, "for sometimes it is those who appear the most fortunate who endure the most misfortune, and the assumption that the privileged, spoiled Jordan Baker was safe in her ivory tower, was the greatest falsehood of all."
