Monica smiled as the warm rays of sunlight hit her face. This is a very special day for her and her samurai boy. She continued to walk until she noticed a candy shop. She stopped walking and looked at the window of the shop. Their candy looked nice from out there. At first she hesitated but then she went in.
The shop is filled with chocolates, marshmallows, gum, toffees and other candies of different shapes and color. She noticed that the shop is very quiet and there are no costumers there except the two of them. She went closer to the candies and stared at them.
She remembered her family and the candy castle they used to own and dream. This candy shop is like theirs. Tears started to form in her eyes. She wanted to have a candy castle for her parents- for their family. Until now she's working for that dream. She's still thinking about the candy castle when a little girl came to her.
"Would you buy that candy? That's very delicious, my mom had made it…." she said with her innocent eyes on candies.
"Yes… would you give me a piece?" Monica answered.
The little girl ran to her mother. The old woman came to her and gave her the candy she wanted. The girl smiled at her and she just smiled at her. She looked at the candy she bought. After her parents had died, she gave many years of her life in fulfilling their dream.
"Monica…" Kai uttered.
"Come on. Let's go." She said to her samurai boy and then gave him a hug before they left the store.
Still, she didn't have her candy castle yet but now she has something and someone. Now, she has her castle of love and a knight in her back. To support her in fulfilling her dream candy castle.
