Kalus sighed as he watched his team walk all around. Several passed by, "Good morning, Captain Kalus."

But Kalus wasn't really paying attention. He was more focused on a female lion Vandal, Katie, "Hmm. What? Oh, good morning."

The three shrugged as Kalus went back to watch Katie, then walked off.

Hatch came up to Kalus, "Good morning Captain Kalus."

Kalus turned to face him, "Hey Hatch. Do you think that it would be a good idea to add Katie to the primary team? You know, to go out and fight other inter-planetary beings and stuff."

Hatch was a bit stunned at this, Um, where is this coming from? You said nobody else can join our team."

Captain Kalus shrugged, "Yeah well, you know."

Krocomodo walked up as Hatch began to smile, "OH! I get it! Kalus has a crush! Kalus has a crush!"

All the females turned to Kalus, "Damn it Hatch!"

Hatch covered his mouth, "Oops."

The female Vandals ran up to the edge of Kalus' perch, "IS IT ME? NO ME! AHAAH!"

Kalus ran away, followed by Krocomodo, Hatch, and Grimian.

Hatch grabbed at his throat, which was being strangled by Kalus' big, meaty, hands, "I will kill you!"

"So, who do you have a crush on?"

Kalus went pale, unnoticed though, fur you know? He knew that voice, as did the others. Kalus sighed, "Is that any of your business Katie?"

Katie shrugged, "Kinda. You assigned me to be the knew therapist-doctor-cook, because I can cook, I know about medical care, and I am a major help to people's thoughts and emotions."

"And honestly, I think it'd be good for you to just go out and tell her how you feel. Unless you wanna dwell on it for the majority of your life and never find a life-long mate."

Hatch chuckled, "I think you'd know who it is."

Kalus pointed and glared at Hatch, making him cover his mouth, zip it, and throw away the key. He turned back to Katie, "Yeah, but now just isn't a good time."

Krocomodo turned to him, "But she's right in front of you. No other female is around."

"Damn it Krocomodo!"

Katie's pupils grew wide, "you mean...it's me?"

Kalus sighed and nodded, "Yeah. And Krocomodo?"

He turned to Krocomodo, "I will kill you in a moment. You get a five hour head start."

Krocomodo ran as fast as he could, as did Hatch. Grimian didn't even say anything, he just kind of left before anyone even noticed.

Katie sighed, "so..."

"You want to join the primary team?"

Katie smiled, "I'd love to. But I'm the only cook besides another one in the west region, the only doctor besides the eastern one, and the only therapist besides the southern one."

Kalus nodded, "But how about you train someone to do the jobs instead and if they need help, help them when you have time off, which the primary team usually does nowadays."

Katie smiled at Kalus and was about to hug him, but stopped, "Oh, sorry."

Captain Kalus smiled and hugged Katie, "It's fine with me."

The female purred and hugged Kalus back, "I love you, Kalus."

Kalus licked her cheek, "I love you too, Katie."
