what's this? I actually posted a chapter? I'm just as surprised as you are. I replaced the previous chapter 1 because I rushed and it was kinda bleh. Hope you enjoy this one! It's kinda short but it's better!
"Marth! Get up!" a little voice says. I feel cold claws shaking me, and I open my eyes to see a weavile staring at me. Her eyes are filled with worry.
"What is it now?" I yawn as I crawl off of the pile of books I use as a bed.
"It's your dad," Hakuhyo whispers,as if someone might be listening,"He's calling you."
"You mean Hank?" I say, rubbing my eyes. I search for my hoodie in the darkness and slip it on over my gray T-shirt. "Why does he want to talk to me?" I ask as I brush my messy black hair.
"I don't know!" she says, her voice shaking, "but you better get up there. He's-" Suddenly the basement door swings open and I see my dad marching down the stairs.
"Marth! Your Amulet!" Hukuhyo whisper-yells. She points to the purple jewel hanging around my neck. I look down and tuck the Amulet in my shirt before Hank can notice.
"I have been calling you for ten minutes!" Hank yells as he grabs my arm, "A good son comes the first time his father calls him, but I have to come down here and get you myself!" I want to say something, but he'll probably slap me, so I stay quiet. Hank drags me to the living room and throws me to the ground.
"Now that we're all here, " he says as he claps his hands together, "I can finally explain what I need you to do." He speaks in that creepy smart-alic voice he uses when he talks to me.
"I need you to go into the Cave of Origin in Hoenn to capture Groudon for me," he explains as he hands me maps of Hoenn and Unova.
"Hoenn? that'll take me three days just to get there!" I complain, "And how do you expect me to catch Groudon? Why do you even want Groudon?" Hank walks over to me and pats my head like a puppy.
"You poor, clueless child," he mocks, "Of course I don't expect you to capture the mighty Groudon, but that's why I'm here!" He tosses a masterball to me and shoos me towards the door. He's obviously not going to tell me anything else. I give Hank a glare before I walk to the front door, but he interrupts me before I walk out.
"By the way, you better bring Groudon back," he threatens, "You wouldn't want that Kabutops incident to happen again,do you?" Why'd he have to say that? Why'd he have to remind me of that stupid Kabutops? I put my shaking hand over my right eye, which is hidden behind my black bangs. Just another reminder that he's stronger than I am. Without looking back at Hank, I turn the doorknob and walk out of the house.
Again, kinda short. But atleast I posted it. I'll try to post more frequently in the future. And if you're confused about the whole kabutops thing, don't worry. I have an entire backstory planned for that. I'll post it someday…...
