Author's Note: So I was just on deviantart when I seen a picture of puppy Balto and Steele. When my mind started flashing ideas of this story. And here we are, I hope you liked it. Please review and give give some feedback.

"We're pals right?" asked a black and white Alaskan Malamute puppy with bright blue eyes
"Forever and always, Avan" smiled a grayish brown wolf hybrid puppy
A salty tear drop slid down the hybrid's reddish wolf eyes as he laid under his blanket. He just came back from town to see the championship race when his best friend crush girl's musher hat flew in the run way. He manage to save the hat, but in doing so he showed up the star. On his way home he was crushed, emotionally and phisaclly by the town's new star dog and his groupies.
"I miss you Avan" whispered the hybrid as another salty tear escaped his eyes
Just then a flock of geese flew over head. A sighed next to him brought the wolf hybrid out of his thoughts. In town a tawny and cream husky was walking in the town dog's boiler room, when she saw her old friend lying down with his black ears pinned against his head.
She sighed and walked closer before sitting down.
"Why the long face, sled dog?"
A large muscular black and white Alaskan Malamute with a brown and gold belt collar looked up and sighed.
"What are you doing here, Val?"
The tawny husky rolled her shappire eyes and said "Nice to see you too, Avan"
The black and white malamute got up and growled "The name's Steele"
Val rolled her eyes and said "Right Steele, forgive me" sarcassliy
Steele just growled and sat down.
"You didn't answer my first question, Steele"
Steele growled and said "None of you business"
Val nodded and said "Where's your groupies?"
"Out celebrating"
"And your not?"
Steeled growled and got up and was about to walked out when Val's words stopped him.
"You miss him, don't you?"
