Hinata had always admired Naruto. Over time, admiration evolved into a crush, then into love.
He was brave and persistent, outspoken and could bear with the loneliness he must have had from having no family. If she were him, she couldn't have taken such trials. She admired him for these reasons.
She'd watched him training for days on end. She watched him try his best to become Hokage over the years. She watched helplessly as villagers despised him for a crime he did not commit. She watched him grow up alone, without the love of a parent.
She'd watch him, hiding in the shadows. Watching him without his knowledge. Loved him silently, afraid that he didn't feel the same. Loved him in his loneliness, in the hope he would belong to her alone.
He'd never known until Ino, accompanied by a trembling Hinata, informed him of her feelings for him.
Naruto was taken completely aback. Being rather dense, he was unaware that the shy girl harboured such feelings for him.
Three years later, they were married with a daughter. A rather pretty girl, with her father's blue eyes and her mother's hair. Her father was now the Rokudaime Hokage, no longer hated for being the vessel of the Kyuubi. Hinata was now married to the man she loved.
Both their dreams had been fulfilled. Now, Hinata no longer had to love him in silence, for she now knew he loved her too. She no longer had to love him in his loneliness, because he was hers, and hers alone.
