Days like this can get boring. It was fun messing around with Eggman, foiling his schemes, seeing him prance around in anger. But he's gone now. Long gone. At last we defeated him. And we got what we desired.
Peace.
But now I don't think I want this. I want the days when I got up; the first thing I was going to do was annoy Eggman back. I'm sitting down right now. On the cliff where we defeated him. Once where there was his sick twisted 'Eggman Land' stood, was now a beautiful valley. I come here every day now. It's not like I loved Eggman or something. But it brought back memories.
Fun memories of long ago.
It's getting dark now. It's probably about 5 in the evening. I never actually took record of the time. One thing Tails always nagged me about. I get up, shaking the excess grass of my body, and begin to walk back to the town. That is until I saw something. No not something; someone. A girl.
Blaze.
I have not seen her in a while. And it's not like a like her either. But I guess I do like her. In a friendly way I guess… I did the most sensible thing and walked up to her. She was facing away from me. Probably the town. I wonder how she even got to our time period again. Anyway, I tapped her on her shoulder, slowly saying her name trying to gain her attention.
"Blaze, hey Blaze!" I called to her, smiling. When she turned, I swear the whole world came to a halt. She has no eyes. Just black holes… As I took a closer look at her, I saw she couldn't be Blaze. Her skin was too pale, almost grayish. She also did not have much of a mouth either. The glance between us only lasted about 3 seconds, when Blaze (well, I think that was her) realized who I was, and disappeared. I don't know why, but I swear she looked similar to Mephiles. I shrugged it off, I was probably tired, and just imagined she was there. I continued to walk back to the town, with her image still in my mind.
