Author's Note: Hey. This poem really stinks - it doesn't even have a proper rhythm, but I decided to put it up, anyway. It was inspired by the Endless Waltz theme song "White reflection", and it can be from any of the pilot's point of views. I dedicate this to my friends, whom I all wish the best of luck. No warnings.

White relection

Hiding behind a web of lies,
The never ending story.
White reflection staring back at me,
Not time for fear, not time to worry.

And as I hide behind every single mask I wear,
I keep on smiling, keep on acting,
Never too far or near.
My white reflection only distracting,
From the truth I hold so dear.

And even if I try to break through all the shards of glass,
I only cut myself at the edges.
The deep crimson flows flows,
And I speak my final pledges.

I'm back where I've started,
Too afraid to leave my fake confines of security,
Too afraid to break through the web of lies.
Always staring at my white reflection.
As what's left of my soul dies.

And through the looking glass I watch,
The world buzz past around me.
Trying to grasp it one at a time,
Into the darkness I try to flee.

Here, I've spoken my final words.
So please don't hold them against me.
The darkness has caught up with me, now.
And so, I take my final bow.
