Once there was a charm
Cast from love and loyalty
To keep a friend from harm
My devotion was in vain
Cast a plot to try and keep you safe
But you ended up in pain
No, not only pain, but the demise
Of you and your beloved
And in the dark of the night, he cries
I've failed you once,
I've failed you twice
And I know I've paid the price
I've escaped my hell
I've found him again
And I vow to you I'll keep him well
What has risen
Can't be undone
But the'll be hope for he is the one
He's saved me once
He'll save me twice
He is the hero in everyone's eyes
My ward, my adoptive son
My friend and my salvation
His second war has just begun
Under his power and guidance
The light shall prevail
The darkness shall rise, but to no avail
He's saved us once
He's saved us twice
He'll do so again when the time is right.
