The Truth of Fenrir Greyback

The burning sun rose over the granite buildings to reveal a slaughtered town. Ruby red droplets of life glittered in puddles, covering the cold pavement. A body, ripped to shreds, lay in one of these pools; a young women with black hair that had now become matted with crusty brown flakes of dried blood. She had been pretty until the skin of her face had been ripped from her flesh and her smooth body had been mauled; deep gashes oozing still and splintered bone lying around her shattered legs. Scraps of flesh from her toned abdomen lay in rags around her bare stomach; intestines wrapped around her long neck. Bulging eyes stared lifelessly up into never ending swirls of orange, pink and blue sky.

To understand why this hell had been unleashed, we must rewind to 6 days ago…

'The Experimental Gene Merging Research Centre gives warning about escaped experiment'

This was the headline for the front page news in the Dillingsworth Press on the 18th April 1974. The news provoked a panic that spread through the whole town; a game of Chinese whispers where descriptions of the experiment grew in size and became more exaggerated with every passing of air from lips to ears of a partner.

'Dr. Robert Roboski denies responsibility of the creature and blames his dead colleague Dr. Lucy Mills who was murdered by 'experiment X'.

"Experiment X is an undeniably strong being with an insatiable taste for blood. I beg of everyone in this town; do not go out side and do not let it in to your homes!" '

Screams of pain were a regular sound now as towns people hid in their homes; family huddled all around as they hoped and prayed that the monster called 'experiment X' would pass them over and continue its murderous play with some other terrified household.
