which was, in her opinion, regrettably lacking in fuzzy decorative socks. She immediately got to work on putting some socks on the wall in a pleasing pattern. After a few minutes of work, something pink flashing by her window caught her attention. She looked out the window to see an extremely pink pony hopping by. The pink pony immediately noticed Minty.
"Oh, who are you?" exclaimed the mysterious pink pony. Several other ponies were walking behind Pinkie Pie, none of whom Minty recognized either.
"I'm Minty!" she exclaimed. "Hey, that looks like fun!" Minty leaped out of her window and started hopping in the same fashion as the other pony. "Wheeeee!"
"Isn't this fun?" exclaimed Pinkie Pie, as they hopped around in a clearing. "I'm Pinkie Pie!"
"I'm Minty!" replied Minty. "Now we're best friends!"
The other ponies starred at the two in shock. One of them muttered,
"No, there's TWO of them now? This isn't going to end well."
After several minutes of hopping around and giggling, Minty says, "Do you know what would make this even better?" and went back into the little house she'd been in. She re-emerged with 8 heavy, woolen socks.
Two of which were embroidered with the initials of "A.D." for some odd reason. "Put these on!" Minty said excitedly.
Pinkie Pie put them on and both the ponies started hopping around again. "Wheeee!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "These socks are so soft and fuzzy I feel like I can hop in them all day!"
And then they hopped off, excitedly giggling and talking to each other.
