kiss communication

(soraxkairi)

Why not explain it all with a kiss?

--

He was hooked, and he had no shame whatsoever. How could he not be addicted?

She was perfect. Flawless.

Sometimes, he just couldn't help but stare.

Smooth, creamy, porcelain skin that was soft to touch. Dark, silky, crimson, tresses fell like a waterfall down to her shoulders. Ink-colored, long, elegant, eyelashes fanned out from her pure, sky-blue eyes, always glimmering with happiness and sincere affection. Full, pink, lips that he loved to see curved into a smile. And her laugh, oh, how he loved her laugh. Her laugh was like unexplainable, beautiful, music that no other being possessed. He liked to think of her as ethereal, because in his eyes, she truly was an angel. In fact, if she just had a halo and a pair of wings, she'd...

"Sora. Are you listening?" The Princess of Heart was obviously annoyed, cocking an eyebrow at the brunette as he snapped out of his daze.

"Oh...Sorry about that," he mumbled with his goofy grin, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"It's alright," she sighed, looking out at the setting sun over the multicolored horizon. "Mm, it's late. I'm gonna head home." She beamed before planting a chaste kiss on his cheek, standing, and turning to leave.

"Wait, Kairi!" Sora shot up from his seat on the dock, standing before the redhead.

"Hmm?" Kairi hummed, rocking back and forth on her heels with an amused smile tugging at her lips. Sora sighed, eyes meeting hers fearfully. There was something that he needed to know. But how could he put what he wanted to say into words?

"It's just..." he trailed off, placing a gloved hand upon her shoulder as fingertips crawled up to brush her flawless face. She leaned into to his touch, eyes fluttering closed with a content hum. Sora smiled before pressing his lips to hers as a wave of intoxication washed over him. He eagerly took in her smell, exhaling the rejuvenating scent of strawberries and nectar. He shivered at her touch when her arms coiled around his neck, not wanting to let go. When they finally pulled apart, he felt slightly dizzy and extremely breathless. Maybe, just maybe if he was lucky, he'd gotten his point across. A half smile graced his lips, awaiting Kairi's response. When she beamed and giggled, he knew she'd gotten the kiss's message:

I love you. More than anything. You'll never leave me, will you?

Kairi grinned mischievously before standing on her tippy toes and pecking Sora on the lips:

I love you too, and I'll always be yours, Sora.

And with that, she skipped across the pristine sand, the sun's last beam of light dancing across her disappearing figure.
