That look in your eyes. I see it now. You're in pain and it's because of me. You turn the blade in my shoulder, making me scream. I feel my face heat up with pain. I want this to end quickly but I don't want to die. I want to see your face.
You grin in joy when you ask me if it hurts but your eyes tell differently, they hold sorrow. You don't want this. You don't want to kill me, but there's something else in your eyes. A longing. A want. A need.
I look again ignoring the pain. But it is gone. Maybe I imaged it. You look down at me and hiss the question again, then when I don't answer you, you reach down and pull my hair making me hiss.
Again you ask and I don't answer. You getting really angry now. I can feel the anger rise but there is still the feeling of pain and sorrow. Maybe it's because I'm still breathing…I can't be sure…
This time you do something different, but either way it was expected. You pull the blade down my shoulder and through my arm. I feel slightly dizzy, maybe it's from the loss of blood.

I whisper the words and you tell me to repeat them, I happily repeat them. Three words. I love you. I smile now that I've told you. My eyes closed and I feel arms wrap around me. Water drips on my face. It's coming from your eyes, I wonder why.
I smile. You whisper the words I thought I would never hear. I love you to Krad, more than anything you'll ever now.
