one at a time?
an unspoken balance here
unabridged for so many years
that I should stare at receivers
to receive her

-He's asleep on the couch, all wrapped up in front of my eyes... he kind of looks like a mummy.. that's a funny thought. The thought of Spike in general is what gets me happy. Its hard to make a shrew woman smile, but yet somehow.. he makes me smile so easily. He hates me, so I have to pretend to hate him too. Its not fair.. he loves someone else but yet all I can think of his him. He looks into my eyes and he sees himself. I look into his eyes and I don't see me, I see him. Well I'm tired of caring. I saved him and he doesn't even know that.-

-I can just see him now. Falling from the damned cathedral. His expression makes him look like he doesn't even care. He doesn't care if he dies.. but he doesn't know that someone else cares. I held him in my arms when he landed.. I held him for hours as I waited for Jet to come pick us up. I don't want him to die, but I can tell that he's in pain. He wants to die.-
