The Sorcerer's Apprentice stared at the opposing shaman. Standing beside her, a slobbering croc sniffed the air. To left of the beast, was the Shadowfiend which the Faceless Summoner (who had been died after being summoned, attacked by a Fire Elemental) had brought forth from The Beyond. She didn't like the look of it, with
Thrall stared at his cards, looking from one to the next and then grinning. He had cast hexes, summoned storms, and called down hell with bolts of crackling energy. At this point, he couldn't have had many spells left in his deck, which consisted only of five cards (and more than the four cards in his hand).
Turning his eyes upon, the field, he dropped a 10-Cost. She could tell because of the sound of made when all ten mana crystals were emptied. A lavender haze filled the air as the worst screeching which the Sorcerer's Apprentice had ever heard, pierced through the boundaries of space and time.
"BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH!"
The apprentice stared in horror at the yawning maw from which chaotic energy roared forth. The elder god's scales rippled with the expanding energy, its teeth moving up and down as it roared in laughter. Its eyes were constructed from teeth while the teeth in its mouth were the height of trees. Its tentacles lashed the air as the sky tore open, revealing a dimension beyond comprehension.
Needless to say, this was not going to be good.
A vision of the moon appeared and Thrall discarded his hand, gaining an "Excess Mana" card. He sprinted around in circles, drawing four new cards. Light filled the air, and the apprentice felt a strange warmth in her stomach as she was given the ability to draw a card for Thrall whenever she attacked. A pyroblast roared out of the sky, landing just beside the fortunate the crocodile into a splatter of cooked alligator jerky. Bits of the minion splattered about, staining her robes.
Pink energy leashed into the Shadowfiend, controlling it and dragging it onto Thrall's side of the board. Beside the Shadowfiend, Huffer was summoned out of the blue, and then promptly destroyed when a Flames poured down from the heavens, killing everything aside from Yogg-Saron.
The final spell, was a Shadow Step, drawing the Yogg-Saron back into Thrall's hand.
Thrall would be able to play it again.
Sorcerer's Apprentice began to really despise her mentor for not conceding right then and there.
