"Where are they?!" A shadowed figure huffed out

"I don't know just keep running-!" The shadowed figures friend/partner shouted being as careful as possible not to ruin his companions identity, but before they could continue running a mysterious person dropped from the sky right in front of them. The two stumbled back a bit before the person in front of the started to walk towards them slowly and cracked a giant grin. The two gasped in horror "Oh no! Pink hair, and that infamous grin and weird scent!"

"It can't be! It's Fairy Tail's Salamander!" The two backed up even more and activated their kagunes out of reflex and in hopes of defeating him as well as getting away.

Natsu clicked his tongue and snickered a bit "You guys can't be serious, you guys against me? How do you think that'll turn out?"

Both of the guys were sweating like crazy before one of them finally caught the words that they were looking for "Yeah and? We can still fight, even if that means dying anyways because we're fighting for our lives! What's so wrong about that? We have as much a right to live as any of you fairies!"

Natsu's face turned deathly serious and glared at them "Garbage shouldn't even live in the first place let alone exist," When Natsu saw their nerves waver a bit he took the opportunity to put his plan in action "Lucy now!"

Lucy jumped out of nowhere and wrapped her whip (she named it plue) around the two ghouls and out of the confusion of the two Natsu activated happy (his anti-ghoul weapon) and sliced off their heads clean off in one swoop.

Natsu stood up from his finishing pose "Some fight," he wiped his hands on his black and white coat until he noticed blood splattered all over it "Ugh! I got garbage blood on my new scarf, what the hell!"

Lucy unraveled her whip from the corpses and came running to Natsu "Your scarf?! What about plue? He's filthy now because of you!"

"Yeah but he's just a weapon, and this is my scarf we're talking about!"

"If plue is just a weapon then happy is- Ugh! Never mind I'll just call the cleanup crew and then we can't to headquarters."

[Later in the Ghoul Council Organization (GCO)]

The GCO is an organization brought together by unknown origins to take down blood-thirsty ghouls that dare bring harm to everyday society, but in order to establish this there are units scattered across Fiore. There are famous units known for eliminating or capturing a lot of ghouls such as Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, Mermaid Heel, and etc. excluding caitshelter because that unit was wiped out by ghouls not so long ago. Out of all of those units Fairy Tail is the strongest with the most kills and powerful members and those members include Mirajane Strauss (She-Demon), Erza Scarlet (Titania Queen of Fairies), Laxus Dreyar, Natsu Dragneel (Salamander), Gray Fullbuster, Gajeel Redfox (Black Steel), and the most infamous that is said to be Fairy Tail's Grim Reaper is Gildarts Clive and is constantly killing the most difficult ghouls elsewhere. There is a system that happens in the GCO you are ranked based on your skills athletically and mentally or it could be whatever you lack mentally you can make up for athletically and in combat. The ranks in Fairy Tail's unit are:

These rankings are important because they basically tell you what you can do and where you HAVE to draw the line. The owner of this unit is none other than Makarov Dreyar, 3rd owner that was appointed to him by Brett and Mavis before him. Most of the members they have today joined up because they simply took an interest in it or a personal hatred against ghouls at a very young age. Even if Makarov's duty was to be their mentors he couldn't help but think of them as his own children and they started to think of him as a father figure, thus the entire thing fell into place and the Fairy Tail unit became one big family.
