Well, hello there Freddy fans! :D Welcome to my first FN F's fic. The launch of 3 kicked my muse right into gear so please enjoy this. I don't own Freddy Fazbear and his cohorts, obviously. Guy's not mine either. ;)

However, I do own Megan O'Conner and Kevin Harper (along with other slightly mentioned characters). No touchy.

Ok so with everything in FN F's, this is just my interpretation of the material I've been given. If you don't agree with this portrayal, I'm cool with that. Go make your own. This is mine. To each their own, particularly in this fandom.

Reviews and tips on improving the writing are always appreciated! Enjoy!

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was absolutely packed that afternoon. No less than three back to back birthday parties and a little day care field trip were coming. Megan O'Conner had been dreading it all week, at least since she had checked the schedule. It was a Wednesday, in the middle of summer, literally, July. Wouldn't these kids rather be at the beach? Out in the open? Enjoying the sunshine? She knew she would. Anything but working this job she'd be sucked into. The job her parents had forced her to take before college in the fall.

All she had to do was survive the summer. Couldn't be that hard, right? Hell, just surviving this day would be a feat.

After the first birthday party, it was all too clear that the four animatronics they had working the floor were not going to cut it. Bonnie was out of sync with his guitar, ticking his hand down seconds after the note played. Chica's head kept falling at an odd angle every time she opened her mouth, which also hung open a lot wider then it should. Even Foxy was having a rough time keeping up, his voice box kept repeating the same line over and over.

Perhaps the worst of all was that Freddy, the star, just looked, lost. Standing completely still when he was supposed to be singing. His microphone moved up and down like his was but his voice box wasn't coming on at all.

Megan glared at the bear, wanting to give it a good kick to see if that would help, "Stupid bear, you never work right when we have big parties! You're pointless!" She spat, raising her foot just as the shift manager called her name.

"Quick meeting, Megan. Please come on over." He called, friendly enough but her blood ran cold. These quick meetings were never good. Ever. It only meant one thing, and that made her want to cry.

She trotted over to join her co-workers and shift manager. Each face she glanced at had the same expression she knew hers had. Fear. Worry. Some had their eyes closed. Megan knew those guys were praying. The only one who seemed at ease and not even phased was her boyfriend, Kevin Harper. He was chewing gum on the sly (as it was against the rules) and had his arms crossed. Typical. His nonchalant attitude was what had attracted Megan to him in the first place, but damn! She wished he'd show at least a little fear at this! How could he be so calm?!

The shift manager cleared his throat and Megan looked wearily at him. "Alright, as you may have noticed, our furry friends are suffering from the demands of entertaining. The next party coming in is far bigger than the one we just had. You know what this means." He said, looking down at his clipboard. Everyone, aside from Kevin, shivered. Megan grabbed the edge of his Fazbear hoodie and held on tight. He might not have been scared but he did grab her hand giving it a comforting squeeze. At least he cared about her outcome.

"P-please, sir. I think the animatronics w-will be alright. They might right themselves. There's no need—" A co-worker started but the manager held his hand up to stop her.

"Tiffany, you know that's not possible. Now," he said, consulting his clipboard again, flipping through the pages. "One of you will have to get into Yella. Annndddd, drum roll please. The lucky person is…" He smiled, making it sound like a fun door prize. Megan grit her teeth, she wanted to punch him in the face just as much as she had wanted to kick Freddy.

"Kevin Harper! You've drawn the lucky straw."

Everyone around her let out a sigh of relief while she sucked in a breath of terror. No! Kevin? Again?! He survived Springtrap once but luck only held out for so long. She knew he was getting on the shift managers nerves but she never thought he would go this far! As everyone dispersed, Kevin gave a mock salute to the manager and turned to go to the back room. Megan rushed after him.

"Kevin! Why do you have to get on his nerves so much? It shouldn't be your turn so soon again! Seriously! Kevin, look at me!" She exclaimed, as he would not turn around. She grabbed his hand and turned him around. Megan gasped at the look in his eyes. Pure terror. Finally. When it was far too late to stop the moving train from falling off the cliff.

"Meg, look." He said, taking her hand. "I am the best one at getting in and out of Springtrap. I'd rather it be me then one of the others. Or you." Kevin said softly, cupping her face gently in his hand. She frowned at him, though he had a point. And he had survived once, he could probably do it again. Megan finally sighed.

"At least…" She paused and let go of him, taking a step back, unblocking the door to the "Safe Room". "At least let me check the springs for you before you go out onto the floor, Kevin. Please." She mumbled before rushing off to get things ready for the party.

Time got away from her, the party was there before she had time to blink, and she was busy right off the bat. Being a pizza server had its challenges but she was also the show announcer. Telling kids when Pirate Cove was starting its show or when Freddy was going to sing—which he finally had started again.

Because of Springtrap.

They called him Yella Bonnie when he was on the floor with the kids, because he looked like Bonnie only yellow. Really, he was just a spare salvage "anamatronic" that staff could actually get into and help out when it got too much for their regular characters. Megan liked to call him FrankenBonnie when the kids were out of earshot. The character was stitched together from parts of the others. He was ugly. And he was dangerous.

When the staff were alone, they called him Springtrap. Because he was literally a walking trap. The spring mechanism some engineer had fashioned inside was spotty at best. It was suppose to pull back the wires and rods that could someday support an endoskeleton and make it safe for the workers to get in. But, if the spring didn't latch right, it was a disaster every time. Megan didn't want to think about it. She'd seen it fail more than a few times.

Now that Kevin was in it, she didn't want to see it fail again. Her breath seemed stuck in her chest and her heart was pounding. It would until he was safely out.

Somewhere in the middle of the party, when she was introducing Pirate Foxy, she glanced up and saw Springtrap with a group of kids in the corner. Megan swallowed hard. He hadn't let her check the springs! He was supposed to be announced before he came out, even though she had told the kids right at the beginning there would be a very special guest today. As she watched him act like one of those stupid robot creatures, tears welled up in her eyes.

"Damn it, Kevin." She muttered, praying that he had gotten the deadly springs right. One of the kids tugged on her and pouted.

"Hey, lady! Foxy! We want Foxy!" He demanded, his cohorts chanting Foxy's name over and over.

Though she smiled and patted his head lightly, she burned with anger on the inside. Yea, kid. And I want Foxy to shove his hook through your eye. She thought before doing her job and bringing out the pirate, keeping an eye on Kevin as she did.

The party, and the one after seemed to drag on till nearly close. It was exhausting and Megan was worn by the stress of it all. All of the stress. She had lost track of everything. When shows started, when Foxy was suppose to come out. When she was supposed to laugh at Bonnie and Chica's banter and join in. Even lost track of pizza orders and had to back track more than once. This was madness descending upon her, she was sure. This place was poison.

If all that wasn't bad enough. She had also lost track of Kevin.

But a while later, she breathed a sigh of short lived relief when he came lumbering over to her. She smiled at him, speaking to a group of kids.

"Look guys! It's Yella Bonnie! Say…hi…" Megan said, stopping cold when she realized something was wrong.

Kevin was limping, bad. And his right arm was hanging down at his side, limp and seemingly lifeless. He came over and leaned on her, the six foot heavy suit putting so much weight on her, she almost buckled trying to hold him up. Her heart was throbbing in panic, it was going to burst at any moment. Megan thought it did when one of the kids made a disgusted noise.

"Ewwww! What is that?! Miss Lady, I think he's leaking oil or something. It smells really gross." A boy said, pointing to the floor. Megan didn't want to look and when she did, her heart stopped.

Stage Bonnie at that moment let out an ill timed laugh to one of Chica's terrible jokes.

It was blood. Kevin was bleeding. He needed to get into the safe room and out of that suit fast!

She laughed nervously and then pulled, as gently as she could on Kevin. "Uh oh, kids! Looks like Fran—uh, Bonnie's cousin needs me to go help him for a moment! We will be right back!" She tried to sound normal, like panic wasn't getting the best of her. And she knew she had failed miserably. Megan's only thought was of getting Kevin out of the damn suit.

Leaving a trail of blood behind them, something the head boss was not going to like very much at all, Megan finally pulled Kevin into the safe room. She eased him gently down and laid him on the floor, losing her smile and ability to hold the terror.

"K-Kevin! Talk to me! Please, which springs failed?! Hold on I'll get you out of there!" She said, going for the head locks first. With his good arm, he reached up and grabbed her hand to stop her.

"No. I-I can hear those creaking. Meg…they are gonna fail. Y-you gotta get out of here. You c-can't see that…" He told her softly, his voice masked and muffled. Megan began hyperventilating. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to not believe him and rip that stupid head off of him so he could breath. So she could see his face at least. But, she couldn't ignore the fact that she heard them creaking too.

Tears welled up again and she grabbed his robotic hand and held on tight. She knew what was coming. It was something she'd prepared herself for all day but it still hurt like hell.

"I'm not leaving you, Kev. I'll see you through to the end of this. M-maybe it's not as b-bad as it feels. You can make it through this." She whispered quietly. He let out a little laugh and then made a gurgling noise that made her stomach churn.

"You've always been a terrible liar…" He mumbled just as the door to the room opened up. She shot her head up and froze.

A smiling man, dressed in a smart purple polo, the Freddy Fazbear logo emblazed on his left breast pocket, stood at the door surveying the scene. It closed behind him with a snap as he moved in closer, looking at Kevin and then at Megan, that smile never failing. Never fading. Always perpetually there, like a doll.

"Guy! Guy, please! You have to help Kevin! S-Springtrap failed! A-and I—"

"Miss O'Conner. Where are you supposed to be?" He interrupted her frantic cries. It caught her off guard. It was like Guy didn't see anything wrong here. Like this was normal! Like there wasn't blood pooling on the floor under her boyfriend.

"S-sir?" She asked, trembling now. His face was so eerily calm.

"I believe Freddy is just about to start his last show of the day. You need to get out there and do your job." Guy said, kneeling down to put a cold hand on her shoulder. Megan shuddered and then shook her head fervently.

"But, sir, I can't leave Kevin! He needs me! H-he's hurt really bad a-and the suit keeps failing! I-I don't want him to end up like Dusty o-or Sammy! Please!" She cried, ignoring Kevin's small pleas to just leave him and forget about everything. She was sobbing grossly when Guy got in real close to her face.

"Trust me, dear. He won't. Those two only lost limbs." He said, not elaborating further, which sent a chill down her spine and a set a sense of dread in her heart. It was a death sentence. She knew it. "I will take care of Mr. Harper. You return to the floor." He stated clearly, getting up from the floor. Kevin started shaking, causing his other arm to be crushed by the springs. He didn't scream though, and Megan knew that was because he didn't want her to hear him in pain.

She shook her head again, "N-No…I have to stay with Kevin…until.." She whispered closing her eyes. Though she couldn't see him, she could still hear that terrible smile in his voice.

"Miss O'Conner. I am not asking you, I am telling you. Go back out to the floor and do your job. If you do not, I will put on night shift for five whole nights. Is that what you want?" He asked. Megan paled even more and her eyes flew open. She had no choice at that point. Spending five nights doing security was worse than climbing into Springtrap. And Kevin seemed to agree.

"G-go, Meg. J-just go. I'll be alright. Hey, I'm finally checking out o-of here. I-isn't that what y-you wanted all summer?" Kevin asked. She couldn't answer, standing up on her shaky legs. Megan felt like she was in hell.

"Not like this, Kev. B-but…I get the feeling I'll be seeing you soon anyway." Megan replied quickly before rushing to the door, wrenching it open, tears still staining her face. Guy stopped her just a moment.

"Remember to smile. You are the face of Freddy Fazbears." He gently reminded her.
