Disclaimer: I own nothing except a badly constructed plot based off a storyline and characters people with talent created.
Chapter One
Colin Mason could not believe what he was about to do. Not only was this the last city he ever expected to intentionally go to, but asking Alec Hardison for help. The universe officially needs a reboot. He stared hard at the brick building across the way before sighing and crossing the street. Damn you Faye, he thought.
As the bell chimed, ruining his subtle entrance, he felt a strong grip on his left arm. "What the hell do you think you're doing here?!" a gruff voice whispered into his ear while dragging him through the restaurant to the backroom.
"Look, I want to be here even less than you losers want to see me." Quickly getting defensive. "If there was any other way, trust me…."
"Ah, hell no." The Hacker interrupted "Why Eliot? Don't bring him into my space."
"Hardison, shut up. Chaos start talking." Eliot ground out, "It's the middle of the lunch rush and I don't have time for this shit." Silently a little blonde drops down from the rafters to enjoy the show. "Goodie, this should be fun." she says with a slightly sadistic amount of glee.
"All of you know I wouldn't be here if there was any other option." Chaos starts, "It's my sister. She's gotten herself in way over her head and I need you guys to get her out of it." His shoulders slump as he hunches over the table trying to block out the sceptical expressions of the trio. "She was trying to pull a simple con. Steal some stupid 17th century russian jewelry box from a silicon valley type. He figured her out and is holding prisoner. What kind of sick bastard does that?" Starting to get irritated at the brush off around him, "Look his security system is like a Sterinco on crack."
"You have a sister?" Everyone turns to Hardison for asking the least interesting question imaginable.
"Really? That's the first thing you think of? Yes Hardison. I have a sister. Even a rookie hacker could have found that out in a 30 second background check."
"Why should we help you?" Eliot asks. Trying to keep the to Hackers on topic. Of course there's always an emergency when we're a man down on the line and the place is slammed.
Parker played with the combination lock in her hand and watched the men bicker for a few more minutes. As the argument started to devolve she decided to interrupt. "Chaos you already know we're the good guys. Helping bad guys out isn't really our thing."
Chaos felt a flicker of hope and calmed down. "She's trapped at George Fraiser's mansion. He's corrupt and dirty. It's that your favorite kind of target? She just beat you to the punch and went after the mark first." looking for some level of support "Friaser's stolen every one of his inventions from other people. He rips off the little guy, kills the competition, pays off the law, come on merry men where's your selfrightoues rage?" Locking eyes with everyone at the table "Besides he's going to kill my little sister or worse…." The sadness in his eyes and desperation in his voice was enough to leave even Hardison speechless.
"Ok, we're in." Parker spoke for the group. Chaos flashed everyone a halfhearted smile. "Hardison."
"On it." Hardison moves towards his computer and a flurry of key strokes fills the room.
Chaos starts to follow and fumbles with his pocket "Here I've got some information that will get us started. If we left it to you it would take all week."
Eliot rolls his eyes as the hackers start bickering all over again. "I'm in hell." He shakes his head while heading to the door. "I need to help with the lunch rush. Call me when you've got a plan Parker."
Author's Note: Here is my concept for an Eliot/OC. I will update this weekend with something more substantial.
