Author's note:Hi there! This is my second attempt at writing a Big Time Rush fan fiction. It focuses on Logan, and how he tries to get his friends to understand that he wouldn't say "No" to them for any reason, unless it was a really good reason. There will be some angst, hurt and comfort in the later chapters to come, but this is an introduction for now. I hope that you enjoy it!

This story was written plainly for fun; I do not own Big Time Rush.

No Means No!

Introduction

We all know by now that of all the millions of words that exist in the English language, there just happens to be one word that Logan can never seem to say to his friends, or to anyone for that matter. And that word is a simple, one syllable, two-letter word… No!

Everyone should know by now that Logan easily falls prey to his friends' antics and crazy schemes, always saying, "I've gotta get new friends," afterwards, but he never follows through with his statement. (He never really means that, anyways. He figures that he's stuck with James, Carlos, and Kendall for life now.)

The problem remains the same, though; Logan legitimately cannot say the simple reply, "No!" to his friends! Or at least it seems like it, anyways…

But, contrary to popular belief, Logan actually can say the word "No." In fact, he can yell it out loud as loud as he needs to!

Most people haven't actually heard him say the word ever since they've known him, actually.

This is due to the fact if he ever does say the word, then it's because he has a really good reason to say "No." Nowadays, if or when he does say the word, instead of brushing him off or questioning his response, Carlos, James and Kendall generally realize that something serious is on Logan's mind, or that something serious is going on. And when he says that one word, "No," they almost always listen to him and do what he says without question—it means that he's undoubtedly trying to keep his friends safe, and possibly saving their lives in the process.

But it didn't always used to be that way.

Kendall, James and Carlos didn't always use to listen to Logan when he did say the word "No."

It took a near-fatal accident before they finally understood that he generally had a really good reason for saying "No" to one of their crazy plans or courses of action or questions. And once that near-tragic event occurred, they never questioned his serious "No" responses again.

This is the story of how the boys came to never question Logan's serious "No" responses ever again.

There shall be more to come! Stay tuned! And thanks for reading! :)
