Justice doesn't matter how or when; true justice is handled with a bloodied hand of the assassin; the only way to save and give is to take it all without hesitating. And yet, a clock ticks impeding a common sense of logic on his mind, his eyes never leaving the ticking clock on the cheap two-star hotel that almost never had clients; only those really poor or just fools step into these rat holes.
People who want to be lost forever, that the whole truth; he wants to be lost forever, for nobody to find him and to remain as death to everyone's perception, even to Arceus's never faltering Aura Sense he'll remain death.
Chosen one, what a joke; a cheap bloke that only managed to drive everyone away from him after they believed him to be a looser.
A loser, a dead-weight, nothing except failure will run into his life forever; and yet nowadays he has won so many battles, killed so many lives; pokemon and human alike. Drawing their blood felt so natural, like a second nature.
Ash Ketchum, former pokemon trainer and Arceus's Chosen; has fallen. On his years after just going away, with nothing on his hands, not even Pikachu at his side. He mastered aura, painfully to tear his muscles, strain his mind; to have the ultimate power, a mere touch of what god's power would be was his ambition.
And he attained it the moment he tamed both the Aura's Light Side and its Dark Side; eventually turning into what many Aura Guardians called 'Those in the Gray Path'. People who aren't loyal to the Guardians and yet are not Dark Aura users but instead they are people whose power is so great or their wisdom so great that it goes beyond the common perception those in the world of living have of the energy known as Aura.
The Aura Assassin Ash Ketchum has never possessed a Pokemon ever since everybody drove him away, preferring to fight with his own hands instead since he was now one with the Aura in him.
Getting up from his chair, the former pokemon trainer smirked as he could feel it latent in the aura; they were coming for him. The teenage boy got up, dressed in his black hooded robes, he looked at himself in a worn mirror; age had done marvelous things on him. His raven black hair had the same style, yet his eyes were darker.
"Halt!" The window was crashed and the door knocked out of its hinges, the Pokemon Rangers were an institution of guardians who defended the Pokemon world. Certainly after he delivered the heads of Hunter J and all of her pokemon comrades added a bigger danger sign to his head. "In the name of the Pokemon Rangers, you're to face trial for the massacre of the innocent pokemon who were in Hunter J's team." The head of the rangers prepared its pokeballs, earning a raised eyebrow from the former trainer that now had a hood covering his identity.
"I thought you were supposed to serve the people who fight with honor." He stated earning a nod from the team of three; two males and one female who were on the room, ready to attack him at a moment's notice. 'Fools, underestimating me by believing they'll even have a moment to even draw their pokemon to defend them.' Ash Ketchum thought mercilessly, before their pokeballs could open only a faint blue beam that zigzagged through the three was seen; on the corner of the room was the former trainer; a click echoed and three heads fell from their corpses and eventually so did the corpses.
Knowing that he'll have to get out of the place soon, he left the room to find the manager and the secretary watching the footage with shock, before they could turn however the young teen's right hand tightly closed in a fist and their necks snapped.
"Did you really have to kill those civilians?" A teenager leaned in the entrance, his slightly longer light purple hair touching his shoulders. Wearing the same clothing he had when he first participated in the Lilly of the Valley Conference of Sinnoh; the most mature outlook of all his journeys. This teenager was Paul, a former rival of the now human and Pokémon murderer and Gym Leader of Sinnoh's Veilstone City; he wore a confident smug grin. No answer came from the black robed phantasm-like individual who just descended the stairs slowly.
"Ash." The Gym Leader asked to the possibly most dangerous person of the pokemon world, who just stopped and waited. "You told me you'll be my company in the annual party of the Sinnoh League Members in Brandon's Pyramid." The relationship between both would be expressed as friendship since Paul was the only few persons Ash trusted after almost everybody he knew turned away from him.
While they haven't fought, the Veilstone Gym Leader never feared in the presence of him since he knew he earned the teen's respect and that enough kept him off from the possible erratic target list the young teen had.
"Social meetings have no purpose for me, I live to taste the rush of battle; not of some awkward music you all fool yourself into." Dark Aura started to pour out in massive quantities from the young teen; not fearing anybody who might trace him. A way of making himself known to the world, not only to humans but also to pokemon; making himself known as somebody not to be trifled with.
"You promised that after you destroyed the entire team rocket you'll go with me. You fulfilled your vengeance, now come." The Veilstone city gym leader asked to the threatening person who just sighed and took out the only pokeball he contained; technically not a pokemon he captured by normal means. The masterball opened to reveal the legendary thunder bird Zapdos, who stared back at its trainer; one of the only legends that have disappeared and that never informed of the Dark Shift of the Chosen One.
"You told me you would never trust pokemon again?" Paul asked in amusement with a raised eyebrow earning a nod from the former pokemon trainer. "I got this one after getting rid of Giovanni and most of his organization; thanks to this one I caught the loose-ends with relative ease." Cutting his summary short, the veilstone gym leader too out his proud salamence who roared and let its trainer ride him; both flew to Veilstone City.
The story of the Dark Aura Assassin of how he came to be is a bittersweet one, and The Veilstone Gym Leader; while he never experienced it he heard enough rumors, those that indicated that a powerful guardian that was taken in by the order went rogue and all the trail of lies, deceit and death that it left.
.
When both trainers arrived to Brandon's Pyramid in Jubilife City, for the Aura Assassin to come again to a city grew a certain edgy sense of him and the Veilston City Gym Leader could sense it. An ecstatic feeling crept upon the Aura Murderer, letting free of his own restraints; he freed his dark aura shroud of terror, Paul shook his head without turning to the former trainer from pallet town.
'What has made you different Ash?' The gym leader wondered in his own mind as both went inside the pyramid to hear silence and all of the gym leaders and the elite four members glaring at Paul and at the person on his side. They all drew their pokeballs and were ready to destroy the menace to all trainers and pokemon alike.
"Paul." Candice stated with a blunt voice to her gym leader comrade who came side-by-side with probably the most menacing person, somebody who everyone wants a piece of. "Cynthia, Candice, Guys. While you may already know about my friend, he accepted my invitation to this party. After all, Brandon lends me the place after all." The Gym Leader spoke with blatant dismissal to the female gym leader who just went red in fury.
"The Aura Assassin; you murdered Riley and his lucario." Volkner commented edgily about the life of the young teenager who just spiked his dark aura even more, and everything turned silent. They all now feared him, for Ash Ketchum for them all to see him as the man he is and not what he is supposed to be, feels bitter.
"Fear me; because that's the only salvation that you can have, fear." Feigning a lower voice with a dark echo with it the Sinnoh League members tried to hold back the spine-tingling feeling of danger and fear. The young teen turned away and was about to go, yet Paul's hand went to his shoulder, earning everybody's silence.
"You promised me you'll stay." For somebody like Paul to not have the only person he trusted around and pay him back for many of the favors he did to him was something inconceivable. "I'll stay." His voice stated enough and he went back, as the loud trance music continued; the young Aura Assassin sat on a table alone.
The waitresses around were serving and doing some discreet service to the male Gym Leaders, mostly were hinted at Volkner than the others; while the Aura Assassin had a glass with water on it. Bland, to parch his dried throat of the water he hasn't had ever since he has been on the run.
"For somebody menacing, you're rather lonely." A female voice teased slightly, Ash ketchum knew that voice enough. It was Cynthia, the Sinnoh League Champion and probably the strongest female Trainer in the pokemon world being just toe-to toe with the female champion of the newest region who has a mega-gardevoir. "Silence is the company of those who are powerful and feared by everyone; serene and peaceful silence." His statement had grains of truth and salt of darkness in it; for Cynthia somebody silent and dark meant mysterious to her. While for the others who just went on their activities, she wasn't somebody to do silly things for fun; her professional seriousness didn't let her do it.
Not like she had a boyfriend or something like that with her status and fame.
"For somebody famous, you're rather lonely." The Aura Assassin teased back to the blonde champion who turned back to him when her head was on her silly League Members. "Somebody with my fame can't go outside and stain its growing reputation and professionalism." The female champion answered to the aura assassin who just staid silent, his head never moved, his body just sat like a foreboding statue. "You lie." Those were his words, earning her surprise, she turned to look at the former Aura Guardian and her face expressed surprise at what the male tried to inquire.
"It's easy to read a person's aura; to know their true intentions and feelings; you feel unhappy with your place as Champion since it creates a conflict with that part of yours that wishes to live a common life like those journeying trainers who can settle down and not have cameras searching for them all the while. Each time you win a battle, a part of you feels the satisfaction of the win, while the other feels sad for being chained. You don't enjoy this because, you know, you'll feel alone and weak." To each of his words were like a harsh burden fell upon the shoulders of the female champion whose surprised eyes now had an edgy and hostile glare.
"Nonsense." She got up and glared at the male who just shifted his head and raised his head to meet her eyes, and there she met them; unnerving pale yellow eyes. "Aura doesn't lies, and a person like you knows it Cynthia." The male stated earning silence from the female who couldn't fight back against the truths that the man stated without any remorse; to Cynthia the ordeal with the man was embarrassing.
Paul ignored the advances of multiple waitresses and of Candice to be at the side of his friend and looking at Cynthia. "Is something the matter?" The male asked earning silence from the young male who just turned away and smirked. "You owe me one Paul, making me come to an hostile territory and to use Psychic-Type Aura to blind them." He concluded as he raised his right arm, dense black smoke swirled and one of the windows was broken as the black smoke escaped.
.
On the highest mountain of Johto two gravestones rested; both of them equally important to him. Their deaths changed him completely, making his path from a hero to anti-hero and villain to the eyes of the entire world.
Delia Ketchum his mother and Riley his master; the only monument where he could feel the bone-chilling cold and the loneliness on the top of the mountain he climbed alone and without a pokemon to aid him, here he felt that his earlier success meant nothing and pale in comparison to his actual success.
He was to blame of their deaths, their lives were peaceful and he arrived and changed them forever.
With no pokemon, no friends, no comrades, nothing that could relate himself to his old life; he knelt down in front of both gravestones marked with their names and the most significant quote they said on their living life.
"I fulfilled my vengeance; Giovanni is dead, mask of ice was murdered, Hunter J will never terrorize the pokemon again…" Ash ketchum lowered his robe's hood to reveal his normal eyes, shining with sadness and loneliness in them. "I murdered the Aura Council and any remains of the Order; I'm the last member of the order." The young male closed his eyes slowly and inhaled the cold air around him; here on the top there was a silent cold air, yet no snowstorm.
A pendant, his hands grasped a golden chained pendant that was the only lead that the young man had of the one who started it all, the greatest evil he had to quench the world from; inside that pendant was a only a paper that contained a geographical location and an exact date in an exact hour.
Opening it again, a phantasm-like hologram appeared.
"Aura Guardian." Turning his voice to meet the eldest member of the Aura Council, one of the many that suffered to his hands, he glared at the man that betrayed the order for power. However for some reason this man seems to be pure. "You've found a very important lead to somebody we have been hunting for a decade." He laughed, a myth from the old war that stated that there was a cult of Dark Aura Users who are only bent on destroying the whole world, the man started to explain he origins of the Order of Aura and a man who went away from the path and created the Order of the Darkens, people who only want to rule and destroy.
The Dark Lord of the Darkens, sounded like a mythical fairy-tale, with no criminal organization to endanger the pokemon world anymore, there was almost nothing that will cross his path and dare to weak havoc anymore.
"It's your duty Guardian, only you can save the world from this dark man who lives for blood and death."
.
-Shamuti Island-
Orange Islands
"You don't know what you're doing!" The elder leader of the Shamuti Island's tribe and believers in the Poke-God Arceus and their defender Lugia, were all being dragged by gunned mercenaries; adults, young, babies, pregnant; everybody was being dragged to their last fate. The Ruins of Millenia, no mortal had the authorization to touch that heavenly and purified place.
"You'll enrage Arceus and the Pokemon alike, if you do it." The elder screamed as a female blonde mercenary dressed in black military camo clothing kicked the elder in the back. "Silence ol' man." The female had a cigarette on her lips, the machine gun's muzzle was on the elder, who just coughed and used his cane to get up.
"You bitch!" The mother of the Song's chosen screamed at the woman and tried to fight the restrains she had, futile it was since everybody was lead to their death.
For a year a prophecy was foretold, that the chosen one must reappear again and fight against his worst nightmare, the last trial. Yet, there was no chosen one, there was no guardian anymore, the nature has turned its back on them all.
A man dressed in black tuxedo, his long and silk coal black hair and his tanned skin made him, yet his eyes were of an unnerving pale yellow color. He smirked as he led the way to their deaths in between the famous ruins of the millennia, a place never touched by humans ever since the era of the Civil War of the Guardians, that as centuries ago.
As they ascended the route, they finally were met with the ruins; the statues of Aura Masters were around in circle as in the epicenter of the beautiful garden were the remains of a broken statue.
"Align them all, in circle around the broken statue; its time for this sacrifice to be made." The man laughed evilly as all the natives of the shamuti island were knelt down and placed all around the statue; young cried as they faced the imminent death.
"You'll pay, the Chosen one will defeat you and peace will be brought." The elder glared at the man in tuxedo who just laughed even further at the way they saw things. "Your guardian has betrayed you, your god betrayed you and your Chosen One is already DEAD." The man smirked, he wanted to see them fear; yet the elder gave them all courage. "Out sacrifice will bring peace to human and pokemon alike; we're prepared to be in the hands of our god Arceus." The elder leader of the Shamuti Tribe stated earning the frown of the black haired man in tuxedo.
"Kill them, NOW!" He ordered bluntly as multiple shots were heard, the beautiful garden and the statues were stained with blood and bullets as they never ceased to shoot and kill them all.
.
Ash's heart skipped a beat as he gave a step back, his sharp inhale was even more pronounced as his eyes were now fixated on the surface; his right hand went to his head. Millions of voices screamed for at least five seconds before they silenced.
"I fear that it has started." The phantasm disappeared earning the shock of the young man who just knelt down in front of the gravestones again. To his surprise, a pokemon egg materialized in front of his mother's grave.
Yet he knew it was a message from his mother to return to his old life again; even if it meant to bring painful memories and his anger.
He chuckled; it was time to show the pokemon world to fear Ash Ketchum's power in the arena floor.
