This is a story that is about guardians or a single character this is a tale about the enemy factions we face it will be about epic battles and what its like to be a dreg or cabal soldier. And our first tale will be about a cabal siege on a fallen encampment.
CHAPTER ONE: ENCOUNTER.
the scouts hace reported cabal ships on their way here carrying heavy troop deployments and possibly tanks, said scout 1.
Tell the men to prepare the defenses have them all on high alert,commanded the high baron.
yes sir, said scout 1.
as the fallen prepared their defenses the cabal ships had finally landed.
HARVESTER, screamed a dreg watching the wall, fallen troops rushed to their positions and prepared for battle, guns were armed walker tanks were set on light and heavy pikes were prepared.
the first shots were fired by cabal legionaires running behind phalanxe shields their shots rained upon the fallens base.
the first to fall was a dreg who stood to fire but was killed by a psion sniper.
the fallen retaliated with storm of arc shots that claimed the lives of several cabal foot soldiers.
cabal gunships came zooming over the battlefield but were quickly done away with by the fallens walker tanks heavy artillery main gun.
NEXT CHAPTER HORSEMEN
We were ready, were always ready, but there never ready for us, said the heavy pike commander.
the fallen pikes were set loose upon the battlefield.
we rode onto the battlefield decimating their troops, it wasnt even a fight it was slaughter, said the heavy pike commander.we danced among them like wolves taking out sheep, thats when a dreg on light pike was turned to ashes.
cabal intercepters had been dropped in to deal with the fallen pikes.
I told my men to split up and take out the interceptors from the sides and the back, heavy pike commander.
never send dogs to deal with lions.
the interceptors were no match for our pikes speed, heavy pike commander.
so after the interceptors were delt with we went after their basic foot units.
we were doing well until BOOM a cabal tank began firing upon us, it mere moments it fired again BOOM half the men under my command were dead, i told what was left to scatter and leave the tank to me.
I began loosing a heavy volley upon it to weaken its armor just enough for my mines to temporarily disable its targeting system long enough for me to ram it.
