Ludwig sat in his bunker as his hopes of a 1000 year Reich crumbled with it. It was supposed to be simple, so very simple. Knock out Britain,France, and Russia and kill all the impures. But no, it all went to waste. Ludwig looked up at the shaking ceiling and thought how all this even happened.

Ludwig was exhausted. The western front was a stalemate with each side tired to fight. "It's been three years! How do they still have the will to fight!?" He cried in frustration. His friend, Zimmermann, answered for him. "Well, the Americans are supplying them with supplies. We need to find a way to get the Americans distracted. Instantly the two thought of a plan. Get Mexico to invade America with a promise of her getting Texas and New Mexico back. Zimmermann sent the telegram to the Hispanic with the proposal.

Britain somehow intercepted it and showed it to Alfred. What was worse Zimmermann confirmed it was legit. So after being assured by Mexico that she won't invade, he stormed Europe with murder in his eyes. It only took a few more months for the war to end.
Shortly after the Great Depression, an Austrian named Adolf Hitler rose to power. His words resonated people who wanted change. Ludwig included. Soon after, the Nazi party rose and took over Germany. They targeted people who they deemed "unworthy". Jews, Gypsies, Communists,etc. They were all sent to camps for hard labor. Or they got gassed. Ludwig didn't really care what happened to them.
He and Ivan made a treaty to split Poland. Germany invaded east, Russia invaded west. Both sides knew their alliance wouldn't last as both had different ideologies on how to run their government. Germany acted first by unleashing Operation Barbarossa, after the Medieval crusade leader. Though the plan was a disaster. When they invaded in June, they expected it to last a couple of months. So they didn't pack any supplies for the winter. Soon after the battle of Stalingrad, the Wehrmacht were pushed back.
Ludwig remembered his allies, Japan and Italy. Italy. He spat the name as if it were venom. That pasta eating two-timing coward couldn't even handle a few Greeks. He always had to be saved. And when he lost Sicily to Allies, he threw Mussolini in jail and surrendered.
Japan however was an odd fellow. Kind of a loner. When he attacked Pearl Harbor, Ludwig declared war on America with the hope Japan would take that as a sign of friendship and help him in his war with Russia. That didn't happen as Kiku was alone fighting a pissed off Australia,China,and America. Last Ludwig heard of the nation he lost Iwo Jima to the Americans.
Ludwig heard shouts of "URRAH!" from above him. They did it. The Soviets conquered Berlin. He could escape, pass off as a civilian and go to Argentina like the other Nazi officials. Or he can kill himself right here and now like the Fuhrer. With trembling hands he put his Luger in his mouth before taking it out and throwing it to the side. He can't be coward. Not when his people need him.
Getting up, Ludwig left the bunker with his hands behind his head. He came across the Soviets who raised their guns. He also saw Ivan with a fiery glare of hatred that if looks can kill, Ludwig would be dead. He didn't care though as life left his body a long time ago. Germany looked Russia in the eyes and said two words. "I surrender."
