Author's note: I wrote this while on vacation after my friend was in an accident. So yes, that means that this is for you Liz. This is actually the reason why Anna was frustrated with me when we were in Branson, because I was writing this and not riding rides with her. Oh well.

I know it doesn't seem like it now, and I realize this is a tired and clichéd line, but things are gonna get better. Maybe not today, but someday and until that someday I am going to do everything within my power to brighten things by being the wacky friend you know and love. I wish I could do more, but I'm only human. But I'm here for you, if you ever wanna talk. Because I realized something Jamesie, I love you. Not in a homosexual way, but in a brotherly way. That's what you are to me; you're my best mate, my brother. This whole thing made me realize how big a part of my life you are. I don't know what I'd do without you. It also made me realize how close I could've come to losing you and that terrified me. I think I sometimes take you and our friendship for granted, I intend to fix that.
I meant it when I said that I'm here for you, I'm not going to pretend that I know what you're going through, and I may not be as good at giving advice as Remus, but the point is I'm willing to try. Because that's what brothers do, blood related or not. So, be prepared, my brother to be smothered with love and affection. Yes, you read that right, I did say affection. We all know I'm not the most affectionate of folks, but I do have an affectionate side, and you're gonna see a lot of it. And you're gonna see it whether you want it or not, because you need it. Anything you need just let me know, I'm yours mate, use me however you see fit…
That was kinda dirty… Sorry, back to more serious things, no pun intended. Bottom line of this letter is to let you know that you mean the world to me, and to let you know that I'm going to be there for you, whether you want me to or not. You're never gonna be able to get rid of me. I'm like a cockroach, not even a nuclear holocaust can stop me! (Excuse me while I laugh manically, I feel the need.) Okay, I'm better now. And I, like my cockroach analogy counterpart am going to constantly be around, and there will probably be moments when you think you've finally seen the last of me but you're going to discover that I've merely retreated off to a dark corner somewhere, I just won't go away. So get used to it. :-)
