Going pretty well if I do say so myself, this is going to be where the story really starts to change, and everything from this point will be different, well maybe not everything but you should know what I mean. Mean it really sucks having to write two and a half chapters for nothing. But whatever, I choose to do this.

"pokemon talk"

"regular"

In the quite town in Kanto in the western part, laid a small town. Pallet Town was a very small quite place that many people go to just get away from everything. In this town was where our main protagonist with his father. Growing up with a heavy influence of pokemon always being around him, he always was at peace with them and they felt the same way. This was a heavy factor for wanted to be a pokemon trainer like his dad, who is now retired from that life to focus on rising his boy. He raised him and taught him everything about pokemon that he knew and they promised that when he is an old enough age he can have his own pokemon adventure. Now is that day, is the boy ready?

Bring- ring- ring. Bring- ring -ring

What's with all the noise? A boy though rolling out of bed to look at his alarm clock. 09:00 was flashing, slamming him hand on the button on top of it turning off the alarm and stopping the flashing as well. Looking at his calendar with a date circled and writing in red said adventure. His eyes shot up and he jumped out of bed. He ran down stairs and in to the kitchen were we see a man making some breakfast.

Frying same eggs with a nice pile of bacon already made on the counter. The whole kitchen smelt of the delightful smell that is bacon, the boy's eye's glistened at the sight and as much as he wanted to devour the whole thing there his smile was another story charging the man.

The man cooking the food was little over six feet with a slightly dirty white T-shirt on and sweatpants, with an untied rode on him. His hair was almost pitch black, messy and went pass his shoulders. He looked like a man who has just woken up and didn't care how he looked about it either, his face mostly covered by his hair and glasses that you couldn't see through too.

The man getting hit from behind turned to see his little boy holding on to him, smiling he patted his head. "Happy birthday, champ." He had always called him champ because he is the one things that he puts above himself. Picking the boy up and hugging him as well. When the hug broke the boy looked into his eyes with hope. The father sighed in defeat. "Yes you we can try it again this year. Now go have a seat so I can finish breakfast."

The boy had yelled for joy, this year for sure he'll be able to go on his pokemon adventure. Previously he had taken it twice. His father allows him one chance every year on his birthday to use what he has learned to pass the test. Every year's test is different. When a whopping loud of bacon was placed in front of him he began destroying them. Eggs soon after and then a large glass of milk. He wanted to be ready for the test.

Joining his father in the living room, the house was a normal one. Had about 2 bathrooms, 3 bed rooms, a living room, and a mix between the kitchen and dining room. The back yard had a little patio with fencing around the back yard. The living room was set up with two couches a big and small one, with a coffee table. The flat screen across from the couch and a fire place to the right. Around the fire place was all of the awards the father had obtained. With pictures, badges, trophies all around it.

Sitting on the small couch where the father was motioning towards. "Are you ready son? For this year's trial? It may be the hardest one so far." He asked a little afraid for his son.

"Nothing can be as hard as last year, remember? The forest? I didn't last two days." The son replied. The father only laughed at his own antics towards his son. "If you had fought off the Houndoom you would have passed." He said back with a smile. "So what's the test this year?" The asked when suddenly Ryan couldn't move his head around, something was gripping him. Keeping him from looking back or around when a star on a string fell in front of him slowly rocking back and forth his eyes couldn't look away. "The test this year wont test you physically nor will if test your survival skill like last year. This year I want to test something that will really make or break you. Son your mind is a very fragile thing and you need to be ready when it gets attacked." Was the last thing heard as everything went black.

Opening his eye's, he found he was in a place he had never seen before, a field with tall grass that was almost waist high. "What am I supposed to do here?" He looked around for anything that stood out and saw something move, he could tell something was there by how the grass was pushed down but couldn't see by what. Moving closer he saw a person sleeping on the ground. "Hello?" He called to her. She moved a bit from the noise, he eyes shot open. Sitting up just as fast and spinning to look at him. When she did that she grows the largest grin he had ever seen, laughing she jumped at him and hugs the life out of him. She was almost crushing him with how hard she was hugging him.

She was very close to his size, just barely above 5 foot it would seem, her hair was pink color that went all the way down to her waist. She wore a lovely white and pink dress that had flowers as a design. She smelt of flowers and for some reason he didn't hate that this stranger was just hugging him. He felt at home with her. "H-hello." He said stuttering a bit with how weird this situation is. "Who are you and do you know where I am?"

She let go after a bit longer of the hugging and giggled a bit. "Where in your mind silly." She sounded like an angel to him for some reason, giving him a small blush in his cheeks that didn't go unnoticed as the woman pulled him in for another hug. "And I'm here to help you become a pokemon training." She said in a whisper. Surprising him even further that she knew. "So this is a trail. What do I have to do? He asked holding her away looking into her eyes. She pointed behind him, maybe has to do with dealing with that.

Turning around was black clouds that where taking over the field he was in. Moving swiftly across the ground towards them. The boy stood up and started heading to the rushing dark clouds much to the lady's disapproval. "I'm not scared dad, if this is the test them I'm a little disappointed." He taunted out loud.

The clouds seemed to stop at the half way point of the field when a tauros came charging out of the cloud. Rolling to the side avoiding the pokemon. It turned back around yelling in its native tongue before scraping its hoof on the ground. The boy never showed fear, knowing just what to do if a while tauros charges you, something his father had taught him in the past. Charging at him before he waited just before being hit and leaped to the side again, but this time grabbing one of the horns on tauros and throwing him on the bull head guiding him to the ground. When the beast hit the ground he seemed to explode into a dark mist that headed back into the cloud. Tuck and rolling with the beast landing safely, something else his dad had taught him.

More pokemon came out of the dark cloud, an eevee and a ditto. Both next to what looked to be him. A different looking him, this one's eyes where a more golden color while his is green. He wore just what he was wearing but he wore them more menacing. Lastly was a tale attached to him and two triangles flouted around him.

"So you supposed to be like the evil me or something, some sort of dark side I have to defeat to show I'm a good person? Father likes stories like those." He said with a smirk. While the other him wasn't so happy about that, picking up the eevee and holding him. "If you think this is all a test then you really are an idiot" His voice wasn't loud or quit but at a perfect pitch for him to hear. He did like being told an idiot though, getting angry at the other him. "If you're not my test then who are you?"

"You see I'm you." He said leaving me confused. He opened his mouth again to speak but stopped. A pair of arms wrapped around me and the women pulled me to her glaring at the other me, he nodded and headed back into the clouds followed by the other pokemon. The clouds then receded back to where every they had come from no long in sight. She sat down bringer the boys head to her lap, looking deeply into his eyes smiling to herself. "You need to wake up now sweetheart. Tell your father that you passed the test, you're ready." The last words she said where strange. She smiled one last time and kissed him on the forehead.

His eyes shooting open, looking around he could see he was in a familiar place, his living room. Checking his watch, it seems he was out for about 3 hours. Even though he just slept he felt like he got no sleep. Getting up he found his dad in the kitchen making a sandwich. His dad choked on his food a bit, "your already done?" He was surprised about how fast it took?

After making a sandwich for his boy they sat around to talk about the test. "I'm sorry son, I take it you failed, sense you're back so soon? Maybe the maze was a bad idea." He said with a shrug. "Next year buddy, I'm sure you'll get it." He rubbed the back of his head.

"About that dad, you see." He paused. "I didn't go a maze, I spent the whole time in a field." That confused the dad a bit. No way his hypno messed this up, he specializes in dreams. "And dad I met this lady, she had long pink hair, she said I passed the test. If that wasn't you then what happened?" The father stopped eating, almost stopped breathing too. "You're saying you met a lady in pick and she told you that you passed." He inched closer waiting for a response from his son.

"Yes dad."

The father seemed to relax a bit after that. Sinking a little into his chair staring at his food. "Then I guess you should get over to Oak's lab to get your starter pokemon." The father's smile was wide and with great swiftness he picked his child up and hugged onto him like never before. "You're going on your very own adventure Ryan!" He said as happy as can be. Ryan couldn't hold back the tear either hugging his father back with much love.

Ok I changed a lot more then I first intended to, like a whole lot. But hey, it's a work in progress. Cut this one off and now I'm gonna have a chapter left over here as an extra. I'm gonna make into one later. using just a little bit of it, I'm sure I'll get something useful. If your reading I honestly want you opinion on the dream he had, I want to know what you thought of it.
