Rating: Um…. No one actually gives a shit.

Summary: Setting during SB. One of the unseen and unheard conversations between Lissa and Dimitri.

"Tell her." Dimitri Belikov said for at least the hundredth time.

Vasilisia Dragomir sighed and sat down on the bench next to her companion. She didn't answer, but said, "I think she's starting to wonder… about…"

"All the time you're spending here?"

"Yeah," she sighed again.

"So… Why don't you explain it to her? Why can't you just tell her?"

This question was new. It was always wondered, but never asked. He always demanded or told or inquired but never, ever asked why.

"Why… don't you know why? She's so. God. Damn. Confused. She's dating Adrian, I don't know what that's about, she's in love with you and you love her too but you wont tell her until she hears what I have to say. And as I keep telling you, get off my case, Dimitri, and go make it right! This isn't up to me!"

"Stop trying to be noble, princess! Her confusion isn't why you won't admit your feelings!"

"Okay, you wanna know, I'll tell you!" She stood up, her temper shortening. "You and I both know I love that woman. But she gives me everything. Everything. She's the best friend anyone could ever have. She has given me her life. I cant ask for anything more."

"You're seriously worried about loving her- because you think you'll be taking too much from her?"

"Yes, Dimitri, Yes! For once I think you might understand what I'm trying to tell you. I can't take anything more from her when I owe her so much.

"But… Lissa, if you tell her… You'll be repaying everything."

I know it's short, but… REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW.
