Summary: In which everyone is a cousin. Or an evil twin. Drabble. Implied VanitasNamine, RoxasXion, & SoraKairi.
A/N: I have no clue where this spouted from. It just started pouring onto the page like rainfall. Enjoy, if you can!
"I just think the entire situation is dumb."
Kairi nodded at this statement. "Ditto. Selphie's right, Namine. You deserve better than this."
"You're no better, Kairi! You're soliciting with them too!"
"Sora's different from his family! And we've known Sora forever!"
Selphie exchanged glances between the quieted Namine and the defensive Kairi and slid from her seat. It's true, Sora was a bit different from his family, but he's still their family. Why was everyone suddenly related to each other anyway? I mean, Sora's cousin Roxas just happens to be Ventus' younger twin brother, who happens to be Vanitas' other cousin, who just so happens to look exactly like Sora, bar the black hair and yellow eyes.
And not to mention Namine and Kairi's gene pool. Not only did they just find out they were half sisters just last year, they also found out Xion, Roxas ex-girlfriend of last year, is Kairi's second cousin.
Selphie could feel a migraine coming along. The only normal one of the bunch definitely had to be Riku...
If not for the sudden Riku clone that appeared just last year. And his name sounded suspiciously close to Riku's. Repliku.
Selphie slid down her seat even further.
"Namine. We told you Vanitas is just bad news! You and him are just too different! He's too dark- and you're so nice!" Kairi shifted her focus back to the sullen blonde. Grabbing her arm indecisively, Namine muttered, "But... I like him."
Kairi held Namine's arms suddenly. "We know, but he's bad news. He's the bad side of Sora's family. I mean, look at how good Ventus, Sora, and Roxas are. TThe bad had to go somewhere."
Namine looked up at Kairi and pointed out, "But Vanitas is good to me."
At this, Kairi let her hands fall from Namine's shoulders. It was true. The raven-haired bad boy was rather kind to Namine. Half of the time he was fighting any who bullied the quiet blonde, and the other half he was awkwardly socializing with the girl.
He was good. Only to her though.
Kairi knew about his wild tendencies, and the way he treated his ex-girlfriends (and it was not pretty), but she had to admit Namine was a different story. Not once did he mistreat her. Never.
Kairi was just about to let the whole thing slide before she noticed Olette running up to them.
"Guys, guys you'll never believe this! Lea has an evil twin! An evil twin, can you believe it!?" Olette panted out as Namine and Kairi exchanged confused glances.
Selphie groaned loudly. "Not this again!"
Just after, the girls could hear a rumbling laughter emanating from the seat behind them. They all turned around on cue.
There sat in all his amused glory, Lea. Or was it...?
The redhead smirked. "The name's Axel, got it memorized?"
